Nature cottage 'Even Nothing' in Zelhem (Achterhoek)

The small park on which the cottage stands radiates tranquility. The attractions in the park are limited to a small playground with trampoline and a tennis court. The cottage is located in the middle of the forest and has a large private garden. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor. Bicycles, towels and baby cot available at extra cost. Via the sand path, on which the cottage is located, you can walk into the adjacent nature reserve ’t Zand. The famous Pieterpad runs along the park.

You have the De Smederij guest house all to yourself and it has its own entrance. Parking is free for guests. It is a few steps away from the IJssel and within walking distance of the historic center of Zutphen and the station. Zutphen is at home in all markets. Speaking of market; the market on Thursday and Saturday in the center is worth a stroll. Cycling with the wind in your hair in the countryside or to a museum or theater. Relax or work. Everything is possible in Zutphen!

The residence is well insulated, has plenty of light, is stylishly decorated and you have access to a large garden of about 800 square meters with shade and sun. Beautiful cycling environment and nice places to visit; 10 minutes away: Doesburg/ Bronkhorst/ Vorden/ Zutphen/ Doetinchem. 20 minutes away from Arnhem. Bicycles can be charged in our shed.

Come and experience the silence in the back corner, admire the stars in the night. Enjoy the owls in the oak tree in front of the house, watch the deer walk by at dusk, the hares play tick on the land and find the pheasant between the bushes. For two couples or a family with children, this is a nice base for cycling and hiking trips. Visit one of the many farm shops, go wine tasting or visit the castle. There is always something to do in the back corner!

In our Tiny House it is great enjoyment. You will enjoy the peace, the cozy living room, the warm atmosphere, the natural environment, the feeling of freedom. Walk from the living room through the French doors to the covered terrace where you can relax in the evening sun. The kitchen is equipped with all the comforts. Take advantage of the hot tub, heat your own fikkie on the fire pit, make new acquaintances. And, your pet (max. 2) is also welcome.
