Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bristol

Gio was a delight to stay with. He gave clear instructions for check in and house rule while maintaining a relaxed environment. He additionally provided me with valuable advice for getting around the city and things to do. The location is not central, but the nearby m2 bus takes you everywhere you need. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is a fabulous place to stay within close proximity to the village of Westbury-on-Trym. The host is quick to respond and we were greated by a smile and a home made victoria sponge. The gardens are amazing and so peaceful especially the area with the stream running through complete with ducks. This is the perfect place to stay to explore Bristol city and easy walking access to the village. This is would suit a small family like ours or a cosy couple retreat, to unwind in tranquil surroundinga after a busy day.

Kay was a great host. She was very helpful and responsive, and the accommodation was excellent. We stayed in a twin room, which was a good size and perfect for us. The bathroom was well appointed with a very good shower. Kay provides a great breakfast, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay a little outside of Bristol, but easily close enough to travel in and out (bus stop opposite the house). We would definitely stay again should we visit Bristol, and highly recommend it as a perfect place to stay.

It was lovely to stay at Soms place and perfect for what we needed for a few days. Communication was excellent, flexibility was really helpful, beds were really comfy and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Brilliant stay and lovely area. There are a choice of about 3 different buses which go into the city centre and/or Bristol Temple Meads train station, and these go from the bus stop about 8 minutes walk away, albeit an uphill walk. Near there is a Sainsbury’s Local and behind it a selection of simple take-away places (fish & chips - yum! - but also Indian and a couple of Chinese take-aways nearby). Room was perfect and has a lovely ambience with its various lights available & nice to have a selection of teas & coffee and a filtered water jug & kettle. Joshua supplied a towel and was very helpful. He’s a great guy. The direct surrounding areas contain a few highlights - namely the amazing Troopers Hill, which is just a few minutes walk away (you can catch the sunset up there or use it as a cut-through to Church Road… the view from up there is worth it!!)… The other highlight is Dunbridge Park, which also leads to the River Avon, and you can walk either way along it!

This was a brilliant stay I absolutely loved it, close to everything that I need. Both Jerry and Jaqui are fantastic people, I loved the dog too I have a friend for life. I'll be back :)

We had a lovely time at Helens!! She was so sweet and welcoming, and it was perfect for our little trip to Bristol 😊 would def recommend to fellow travellers xx

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Martha's. My bedroom in this beautifully maintained Victorian house was so comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen facilities clean and well equipped.Martha and her husband are wonderful hosts and I would certainly return again !

Kate was not there during our stay and so she let us her room which had a door on the garden and its own bathroom. The room was super comfy whereas the bed was a little double bed and that there were no shutters or heavy curtains. But to wake up with the sun is good for the health ☀️ The kitchen and the garden are amazing, the location is super calm even if in 4 min walk you're in the main street of Stokes Croft with all the great bars and restaurants (and 20 min from the city center). I recommend 150% this place and host.

Excellent host. Very friendly and welcoming. Home very clean. Tea and coffee available. Brilliant shower. Lovely touch that breakfast was also provided. Will definitely stay again.

Sono stato a Bristol per un viaggio in solitaria di 6 giorni, con l’idea di esplorare la città e la sua interessante scena artistica. L’appartamento si trova in una posizione davvero comoda: a 10 minuti a piedi da Castle Park, circa 30 minuti dal centro città, e con un monopattino elettrico si può raggiungere facilmente qualsiasi zona. La zona è tranquilla e ben collegata, situata accanto a Stokes Croft, una via vivace e culturalmente attiva. La casa era ordinata, il letto molto comodo, il bagno pulito e la zona giorno ampia e luminosa, con cucina a vista, perfetta per chi desidera cucinare e risparmiare qualcosa sui pasti. L’unico piccolo limite è la mancanza di un vero armadio in camera, ma c’è un appendiabiti nel corridoio che può tornare utile. Per pochi giorni si vive comunque benissimo. Aneta è stata sempre disponibile e flessibile con gli orari. Nel complesso, un’ottima esperienza: ci tornerei volentieri.

Great stay! The host was super flexible with my late check-in, which made everything so easy. The place was perfect for a short stay and in a stunning city. Would definitely recommend!

This place is amazing! Close proximity to pretty much everything. It’s in the heart of the city so everything is walking distance.... To parks , shops, etc. Giu is a great host and is prompt in attending to all your needs. Would highly recommend this flat and definitely will stay again in the future. 👍👍👍

Namrata was a delightful host, quick to communicate and incredibly helpful. The house was full of character and her cat was certainly the queen of the space..! My room was well kept and had all the necessary amenities and storage required for my work. I would recommend this room to anyone! :)

Lovely cottage, exactly as described with cats and quirks, cute and old with lots of character. Cats were lovely, even the slightly grumpy one, breakfast was well above expectations. Delicious! Comfy bed too. Great place, sad we only stayed one night really!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

The 3 weeks that I spent at Nina’s with Betsy, Minou and Suki as roommates were my most cherished weeks of 2025! Nina’s place is spotless, pretty, cosy, just everything to make you feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, who became a friend. The city is the just spectacular and truly heals! My heart is heavy leaving this beautiful place, and my darling Betsy. Until next time!

Excellent value for money. A bit more of a traditional English B and B/small hotel experience than an AirBnB, but does what it says on the tin and is very well situated. Breakfast was lovely and had a number of varied options. Friendly accommodating staff. Again, for the price, difficult to imagine better!
