Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Brewster County

It’s our second time staying here. We loved coming back to the house after a day of hiking. Early mornings were spent in the courtyard watching the sunrise. All the stars were out at night! We saw the Milky Way! What a great stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Jessica’s place. She gave super easy to understand instructions. The house was so cute and our kids loved the bunk beds. There were lots of toys to play with and a high chair for our baby. A nice patio to sit outside in the evenings as well. It wasn’t too noisy outside of the house either. Great place to stay if you are going to Alpine for a visit! Would definitely stay here again.

Casa Wilma might very well be my absolute favorite AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. Hell, it might be my favorite place on earth. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling in and around west Texas and Wilma’s place makes hanging out in the desert comfortable, stylish, and so relaxing. The fenced property was perfect for my two city dogs who don’t get to run around off-leash as often as they’d like. The garage doors in the living room and bedroom let them come and go as they pleased while we laid in the hammocks and read. The stock tank bathtub in the master bedroom was gorgeous and the ability to open the back door and feel like you’re outside among the cactus was so dreamy. Finally, waking up so close to the massive bedroom window made for a perfect way to watch the sunrise. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and spend some serious time here. Wilma and Tom, thanks so much for this treasure!

Great spot! Had everything we needed (washer dryer, garage access, pack and play, TV with apps, etc.) and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Would stay again!

Beautiful little home in a fabulous location. Very quiet & still close to the Downtown area. House was spotless, beds were comfortable, and the AC & fans were great. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Alpine. :)

great place to stay in surroundings are good it's a remote and quiet and still close to all the amenities Market. everything is so close. very specious rooms and a lot space for people. good parking space. we visited big bend and it was great trip. house is little old. its not a big deal but some furniture might be delicate and not sturdy so need to be used gently. it has one bathroom so had to plan for more time margin for getting ready.

The Homestead has an ideal location, just minutes from BBNP and a short drive to Terlingua’s restaurants, gas station, grocery store, and historic ghost town. It makes exploring easy and enjoyable without feeling rushed. The Homestead has a special charm that makes you feel connected to the land. If you’re looking for a stay that blends comfort, beauty, and a true sense of place, this is it. It’s a stay worth experiencing!

We have stayed at this location several times and Karen does a wonderful job of making everything so comfortable and accommodating. There is nothing she hasn’t thought of. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, private courtyard and the nice roomy space. We actually asked for extra days and she was very easy to work with. We will definitely return.

My travels often take me thru Alpine and I love to stay here whenever I am in town. It has just the right amount of amenities for me, comfy bed, a fan, and well worth the cost!

The location and the host was perfect for us. With the location right in the middle of both parks of Big Bend. The best part was the ability to just get away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We had a blast. It was amazing to stay in a tipi, beautiful location. If you do stay there it does get cold but we didn’t mind it we loved it. The heating blanket didn’t work and they do need better heaters. Others then that we loved it. You have to remember it’s a tipi it’s not a hotel. Fun fun fun.

The stay that we had here was absolutely amazing! We loved every second of it and it looks just like the pictures! The hosts are SO nice and we could not have imagined staying anywhere else !

It was super easy to get in, with the clear instructions he sent. We did not have any issues at all. It was a really nice place, and very peaceful. I would definitely book this place again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Cozy Court in Alpine. The space was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and lived up to its name—it truly was cozy and comfortable in every way. We especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra special: coffee, waters, toiletries, and a local guidebook. Communication with our host was smooth and responsive, and check-in was effortless. Whether you’re passing through or planning to explore Marfa, Big Bend, or Fort Davis, The Cozy Court is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to.
