TARANTULA RANCH VACATION RENTALS AND TOURS

MaryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We were disappointed to hear that we couldn’t bring our dogs on the trails at Big Bend, but Curt gave us suggestions of walking areas around our rental. The views were amazing, we sat outside as much as we could and just looked at the mountains. We also enjoyed the local burro, Maggie. My dog fell in love with her. It was a great time. Mary & Scott

906 Rio Vista: An Upscale Condo in Lajitas Resort

NanciRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had never been to Big Bend before and chose Daryl’s place based on the views and proximity to the golf course. It was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. All of the amenities made it feel like we had been living there for years. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The showers were hot and perfect pressure. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed, and as someone who cooked several meals while there this was a major perk. The grill was also easy to use and we grilled delicious ribeyes and chicken thighs. Every morning I had my coffee and read a book with the beautiful scenery in the backyard. Absolutely perfect. Would definitely book again!!

We had a great time at Linda’s place with our two kids. Her house is a lovely little museum where you feel cosy and at home. Very nice backyard where you can enjoy the sun and the peaceful neighborhood.

Luxury Farmhouse Retreat

MatthewRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Perfect Airbnb vacation experience. Beautiful and spacious (guessing approx 2200 sq feet) home in the heart of downtown Alpine, TX. Great for walking around town, or as a base for daytrips to surrounding Ft Davis, Marfa, and Balmorhea. Linda was a wonderful host and responsive when we reached out to her. Fantastic guest manual with everything you'd ever need to know about the house. Our family has been coming to West Texas for many years and stayed in many Airbnbs--this is now our favorite and we plan to come back again soon. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you, Linda!

Casita Blanca was the perfect location with everything we needed. There is a lovely grocery store across the road. The dark skies and vistas are amazing. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice. There were rechargeable lanterns for our use too!

Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

I cannot say enough about how GREAT this place is! It sits on a corner but feels so private. The pictures of the patios do not do them justice! It is BEAUTIFUL! It’s very spacious inside and we felt completely at home. I will definitely want to come back again and again!

Deep Rock Dystopia, Suite A - Central & Unique!

DylanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy little spot, we had everything we needed and then some. The bed with the ac unit and fan right above it was great! Some of the best sleep I've had this year! Close to Terlingua restaurants and Big Bend entrance. It has a duplex set up, but it is well insulated for sound and it feels secluded, I barely noticed our neighbors, unless I was returning or leaving the unit. Would gladly stay again!

Villa Terlingua, Stylish Main House

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cynta is a wonderful warm person who has shared her passions and life through her hospitality and beautiful house. The space is truly a gem and has the essence of terlingua and the area. Our close friends stayed here with us and we had a wonderful time sleeping under the stars and walking the trail to the ghost town for great food and experiences. Highly recommend this place. I know this will be our new place to stay any time we need to escape and let the desert reset our stresses

Secluded Spanish-Style Family Retreat

EddieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
There in no place in this area that provides the amount of creature comforts, privacy, star gazing, desert views, and desert vibes than this place does (remember this is in the middle of nowhere with very limited civilization in close proximity). The house is located close enough to terligua ghost town (about 7 miles) where you can find coffee shops, food, gift shops and other things to do. It is about 10 miles away from Big Bend National Park entrance. The house is private, quiet, clean, well kept and comfortable. The internet worked well, even out on the star gazing deck. Speaking of the star gazing deck, if you are looking for a place where you can sit/lay comfortably outside and look up to the heavens, while only being a short 10 yard walk from your fully stocked kitchen THIS IS IT. We spent countless hours on this deck just soaking it all in. We will 100% be staying here again for our next big bend trip.

Rancho Villa

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in Laura's house while spending time in Big Bend National Park. Marathon is about 40 minutes from the park entrance. The house was lovely - better than the pictures, clean, and was great for our family to retreat each day and watch the beautiful sunset from the porch. The property is beautiful and glad we stayed there.
