The place was excellent, and the host was very helpful and responsive. She helped us with the car issues as well and considering our car fix you extended our checkout. And the House in itself was awesome. As it was remote and perfect for Star gazing. Thank you for having us. Would recommend this property for anyone visiting Big bend.

We really loved Tres Patas! The area is very beautiful and so quiet. Lots of privacy but not too far from town or the National Park. The house was clean and nicely decorated. It was great to sit on the porches and watch the sunset and night sky. Stephanie was very responsive, and house instructions were simple and easy. We would love to visit again!

Such a perfect, sweet, clean spot! Second time returning for my birthday here & very happy with our stay. Unfortunately, the pool broke for a day, but the hosts were very responsive & kind & hopped right over to fix it. We would recommend this airbnb because of the views, privacy, and amenities. It was truly an enjoyable stay knowing that we got to come home to a clean and spacious home.

This is THE place to stay close to Big Bend. Extremely clean, very kind and responsive hosts, outstanding place! I really can't say enough good things. Just stay here and see for yourself. Well worth the money. We cooked and did not eat at any restaurants, although we did notice a couple. We also packed a lunch to visit Big Bend, which was closer than we thought. Great vacation and fantastic place to stay!

This place is AMAZING! Just outside of Alpine and the stargazing is superb. Will is a fantastic host and was very flexible and responsive. They graciously allow dogs which was a huge bonus for us, PLUS a fenced in backyard! The property is beautiful and we had plenty of privacy. The home itself was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed! I plan on staying here again in the future, thank you so much Will!!

This spot is a great adventure pad that my family of six had a lot of fun at. We ran into a couple bumps in the stay, but Host was really great at responding and helping us get the most out our stay!

We stayed for a week at Poolhouse #2 while visiting Teurlingua for my niece’s wedding. The property is gorgeous, well decorated with very comfortable beds! The fire pit was an amazing end to almost every one of our nights. And the pool was a welcomed addition to cool down from a hot day. It’s not far from the Teurlingua Ghost town which I highly recommend and close to Big Bend if you want to explore there too! The hosts were lovely, very responsive and helpful! Definitely would book this space again if I’m ever in the area.

This eclectic place was exactly as described. Random deco that fits the location “almost in the middle of nowhere “! But well appointed for guests! Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen , including bottled water, coffee and more. The bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries! Little things also, like plug adapters for devices, extra outlets, lighting and books aplenty about the region. Super helpful. The directions and photos to the home provided were helpful- the GPS had no idea!! Marathon is pretty tiny and John’s tips for food were great. The direct path to Big Bend and Panther Village visitor Center made our morning starts very smooth. Couple other pluses: the back porch breeze, stars and the lightning show…. Impressive! Memorable stay!

Mary's place has really beautiful views with a great wrap-around balcony. Rocky terrain around the house. The house was very clean, clutter free and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. Charming house and location, we enjoyed our short stay and felt safe.

Marci's house is a great place to stay if you're heading to Big Bend National Park -- it's about a 45-minute drive from the home to the main gate. And what a cool home this is! It felt like hanging out at a cool friend's house, and we greatly enjoyed the chairs set up outside facing the mountains (and really pretty sunsets). Amenities are a little sparse and this is a home that has been well lived in, but everything is clean and full of character. At the price, it's a great value. We'd love to come back and visit again!

We stayed at Laurie’s place during spring break. We have been to the area several times but wanted to stay within the town of Alpine this time. The location is perfect. We walked to get tacos one night at Maria’s which was about a 3 minute walk and to Line Thai which was maybe a 5 minute walk. Laurie’s place was just as described. I really enjoyed the beautiful big bathrooms and was happy with the smell of fresh sheets when we went to bed. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. The kitchen was awesome with the massive chef style stove that we used several times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much Laurie!

Absolutely fell in love with this gem of a place. Location, location so close to Big Bend National Park and across the street from multiple dining options including our absolute favorite, Venga! The house is done with beautiful wood craftsmanship and attention to detail. High end appliances, and toiletries made it feel so luxurious in the most beautiful natural setting. The view I cannot put in words of what a joy it was to experience every day. Coleman defines the art of hosting. He truly has created a beautiful oasis to experience such a beautiful area. Thank you Coleman. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed home—everything felt new and clean, with a lovely outdoor space and plenty of natural light. I really appreciated having reliable internet for video calls, strong A/C, and a well-stocked kitchen with lots of spices and essentials. The views are peaceful, and it’s a great space to relax or work remotely. A few things to keep in mind: the fridge is quite small (more like a mini-fridge with a large freezer), which made it tricky to store food—even just for myself during a 4-night stay. There are no ice trays, and no window coverings in the bedrooms, so it can feel a bit bright. The house is just off a main road, but traffic was light and didn’t impact my stay. It can get very windy, so be sure to secure the doors. Also, some construction materials were still on the property, which slightly detracted from the otherwise nice view. Overall, it’s a great space with a lot of potential and charm—just a few small details to be aware of.

Kathleen & Tom were both very friendly and welcoming. Also helpful & quick to respond to any needs / questions. Their cozy home is relaxing, clean and well-equipped for any guest's needs. The outdoor area is equally lovely & charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose it again if we're in the area.

Best spot in Terlingua!! The views and the quiet is amazing!! You can hike around and just relax. This is a top notch place to stay. The owners make it so easy and we didn’t have to worry about not having anything or if something was clean. We will definitely be back!!!

This was our second time staying here for our Big Bend family vacation. We will only ever stay here when we come to the area. Every single amenity you could want and the most thoughtful extra touches to make it an incredible stay. The addition of the outdoor fireplace gathering area was fantastic. You will not find a better place to stay if you're going to be visiting within two hours of the area. Theresa is always super responsive, proactively communicates and has the best of the best setup. All of the beds are comfortable, lots of extra sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Seriously. Book this house.

Such a wonderful place to stay!! Vintage home with modern upgrades in all the right placed. Quite and peaceful location. Also was very good for my mobility challenged dad, he was happy too.
