Sundhouse is located in the heart of Alsace between Colmar (35 km) and Strasbourg (45 km). You are close to the Wine Route with its authentic villages, Germany and its Black Forest and Europa-Park (25 km) with its new water park. You will be spoiled for choice with a multitude of sites to visit and discover in the surrounding area. If needed, our village has a restaurant, bakery, butcher-caterer, small supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, bank dispenser, etc.

A retreat in the countryside

Quietly located on meadows and orchards, the apartment is 5 km from Freiburg. The city center can be reached in 15 minutes, whether by car or bike, and in 20 minutes by public transport. Our residential area is nestled on the first hills of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, just a 10-minute drive from the cable car station to the Schauinsland. The Markgräflerland and Alsace are just a stone's throw away from here, Basel and Strasbourg day trips.

Ski Instructor's House Hinterzarten

The ski instructor's house is a simple but wonderfully located museum-like accommodation for groups of up to 15. In the basement there are three rooms with bunk beds. A total of 8 people can sleep there. On the main floor you will find a hallway with wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, bathtub and double sink. After the hallway, the property opens into a cooking, dining, and living area. Under the roof is a mattress storage with 5 beds.

Nature experiences - activities close to nature and culture

The house is situated in a spacious scattered settlement, the distance to the nearest house is about 50 meters. Apart from the guests, I live as a host in the house, the permanently rented apartment in the attic has a separate entrance from the outside. Guest access is at the bottom floor. Me as a host use the extra entrance in the basement.

It's surrounded by forest and meadows. You will enjoy the beautiful view and the peace and far away from the noisiness of citys.
