We had a lovely stay despite the mixed weather that didn't stop us from enjoying the walks in an authentic and charming nature even in winter. Our hosts were very concerned about our well-being and we communicated with them easily throughout our stay. Quiet is guaranteed in this well-located rental, close to the small town of Masevaux offering all the necessary services. The quick access to the balloon of Alsace by a picturesque road allows you to access a panorama not to be missed.

Paul's apartment absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is located in a separate outbuilding of the farm, quiet and idyllic. We were able to park our car comfortably directly in the yard. The apartment is tastefully furnished and the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired with its complete equipment. The terrace with a view of the well-kept garden was particularly beautiful – a wonderful place to relax. A small garden gate leads directly to the river, which is ideal for a leisurely walk. Overall, a quiet, very relaxing place. A clear recommendation from us!

Gerard's accommodation is really nicely secluded in the middle of nature. The house is very clean and really well equipped with everything you need - all kitchen utensils and kitchen appliances, dishwashing detergent, spices, etc. Wood for the hot tub and gas for the grill was provided. The house is spread over three levels and the 5 bedrooms are on the second and third floors. Gerard lives next door, yet you have your privacy and help when you need it. We felt very comfortable as a group of 12 (5 adults and 7 children) and also had enough space - thank you very much!

We had a wonderful week in Gengenbach, it flew by and we could have easily stayed much longer. As a base, Gengenbach provided dozens of walks on our doorstep as well as being a springboard for many others. We made use of the free public transport options (tourist card) and parked the car up, which was a refreshing change. We ate at local restaurants on the recommendation of our hosts and were not disappointed - the food was lovely and the local restauranteurs were incredibly hospitable. At the end of our days adventuring we came home to a relaxing apartment which was so well equipped and cosy. Our hosts were friendly; welcoming us on arrival which was lovely and always there to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this as a place to visit and pause for a moment in time.

The lake around the corner is super beautiful and the public connection to the centre and further, e.g. to the Ravennaschlucht or to the Titisee, is very good. The place is minimalist but sufficiently well equipped, only a sharp kitchen knife was missing :D

We were four girls and had a really nice stay. The apartment was super nice, very clean, the terrace great and only a few minutes from the town center. In two minutes you are in the middle of the forest or at the lake at the bathing spot. The communication was very nice and I would book again at any time. Thank you!!!

We had a very nice time in Sylvia's cottage! Sylvia is a very friendly, helpful and sweet woman. Communication was smooth and if we had any questions, Sylvia answered very quickly. The cottage is clean and well maintained, even better than in the photos. This cottage with the friendly host is definitely recommended!

Marco and Sara are great hosts, super friendly. There was all you need and it's really a beautiful place.

We had a pleasant stay in Alexis' apartment. The apartment is convenient and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal.

Nice and spacious apartment in the centre of Gerardmer. Shops (Aldi) and restaurants are nearby. We could choose a different bakery every morning👍. Everything is within walking distance. Jules is a friendly and responsive host.

The apartment is beautiful and very secluded. The 4-day weekend was perfect. The pictures do not come close to the actual beauty of everything. You can swim very well in the pond and we caught an eel. There is also enough space for your own sleeping arrangements. All in all 10/10.

A very beautiful environment and a top accommodation! I have been able to take many hikes to discover this beautiful region. The accommodation is clean and neat with a nice terrace to settle in. Sylvie is responsive in messages. I will come back without any worries to discover this area even more!

We had a nice stay with the family. The home has a beautiful living room with views of the garden and forest. Everyone had their own space to sleep. We appreciated the proximity to walking from the house and also to the lakes.

If you are looking for a quiet place out in nature with enough space for several families, the cottage is perfect. Now that the hot-tube is installed - it’s even better. And Samuel kindly changed the water as the kids went in there with dirty feet. Inside the kids shouldn’t play too loudly, which sometimes isn’t easy - but there is lots of space outside!! We would book it again :)

We enjoyed our stay at Angelique's place. The place was very modern and nicely decorated and well equipped for a recreational getaway. Unfortunately, there is only poor network coverage and no Wi-Fi, although it is not bad, but you should know. :) Otherwise everything tiptop, we thank you for the hospitality.
