Cosy, Stone Millworkers Cottage nr Peak District

This quaint 2 bedroomed, listed, stone terrace cottage in the World Heritage site of the Derwent Valley Mills at Milford. A former millworker’s cottage built around 1850 on the banks of the River Derwent and overlooking woodland and hills. Fronting a street scene of listed cottages providing a quiet neighbourhood with a bygone feel. Beautifully restored in 2023, this cottage has a double and twin rooms, bathroom, dining room and lounge with log burner. Easy walks to pubs and restaurants.

Stag Cottage

Hayeswood Farm is set in the rolling hills of south Derbyshire. Our family moved here in 2024 and have a strong focus on sustainability, regenerating the land and creating a haven for wildlife. The farm is home to chickens, ducks, geese and our three whippets and is a great place to see wildlife such as songbirds, hare, partridge, and fallow deer. With public footpaths on our doorstep and plenty of pubs and farm shops near by, Stag Cottage is the perfect location for a weekend getaway.
