Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Branxholm

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the location is both convenient and private. All the kitchenware is fully equipped, and there’s also a fire pit and BBQ equipment. It’s perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Lucy responds to messages very quickly and also gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions. Our family had a wonderful two-day stay there. Highly recommended!

Pete’s place was the perfect spot for our quick getaway, it was lovely to walk into a toasty warm house, it made us feel at home straight away. Pete’s house was comfortable with all amenities and a fabulous hot shower. We look forward to a return visit!

Huge lounge and dining area for relaxing. Lovely views of Georges Bay through the front windows. Quirky backyard with pizza oven and BBQ area that would be great for teens and kids. HUGE bathroom. The kitchen has everything we needed. The traffic noise was one negative but was soon forgotten. The coastal walking track is just across the road and you can walk for miles either way. Would recommend to family and friends.

A beautiful escape in the beautiful NE wilderness. Kid friendly with lots of games and DVDs, and close to waking trails and the weld river. The kids loved looking for wildlife in the backyard after dark. The hosts are lovely and respond quickly to all questions and offer great recommendations. I can't wait to return in future.

Felt very homely and when the weather is cold, the inside of the house heats up nicely. Really liked the quality of the bedding and comfortable beds. Brought our small dog who remained safe in the well enclosed back yard. Found the host easy to communicate with and was friendly. The wood heater is very charming and really heats up! Overall we had a really nice time and we’re glad we booked here. It was a great holiday experience.

Homely, peaceful, everything you need for the best rest and relax. From the window nook for reading to lazing next to the outdoor fire pit with a wine, we had a lot of fun.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, we both raved about how comfortable the bed was and we thought the doona was heavenly. It had a great location and was only a few minutes away from a lot of the launnie attractions

This was our second stay at this property. Both times have been in Winter so we really appreciate that the unit is well-heated and also sunny during the day. The bedding is also warm and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen is functional and has a small portable cooktop as well as a microwave/oven. This worked well and was perfectly fine for a shortstay. And although none of us travel to watch TV, it’s really nice when you find one that works well and is situated for easy and comfortable viewing. We like the Newstead area and prefer it to staying in the middle of Launceston. The unit is quiet but well-situated for a walk to the supermarket and other small shops. A car is necessary for travelling into the city and surrounds.

Great place in a private, clean, tidy & peaceful spot. Located in a lovely & lofty suburb close to town & not far from the magnificent gorge...just a tip, it's a good idea to have a car.

A lovely stay in such a peaceful hidden away location - with only the sound of distant cows... bliss. Nice & cosy with good heating on a frosty night looking at the stars. Our dog enjoyed the little yard whilst we enjoyed the challenge of cooking in the wood stove. The nearby creek is a beautiful spot to decompress too.. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was peaceful with breathtaking river views—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decor was stylish and thoughtful, creating a really welcoming atmosphere. The hot tub was amazing, especially with the views. The host was fantastic and made everything so easy. Would definitely stay again!

Rosie was an outstanding hosts, evening helping with some first aid items when needed. We had an easy check-in and the amenities were amazing. Great communal amenties including washer and dryer, pizza oven, wood fire smoker and espresso machine. The accommodation was outstanding and the location was country living at its finest. We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Everything worked well and felt quality which was lovely made us feel at home. The spa and the view of the stars at night was magical and our kids adored the sheep nextdoor. We hope to come back one day!

Gabriela was extremely gracious. We weren't able to stay for the breakfast so she kindly provided a beautiful cheese platter on arrival instead. She also made sure the heater was turned on in advance ready for the cold Tassie night.

Swansong was a beautiful place to stay. From the pristine bushland to the beautiful bays, this place didn't disappoint. The space was tranquil and a prime place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We didn't want to leave, and would love to come back! The outdoor fireplace was a perfect place to cook under the night sky. Emily was very responsive and 5 stars as a host.
