I don’t like public reviews, but praise isn’t something you hide. This was an amazing property. It was magical from beginning to the end. Absolutely loved it.

It was an incredible stay despite the short time we stayed, we will definitely repeat again. The unit was 10, both in location and cleanliness, as well as Gabriel's attention. The pool was also a plus in the accommodation. Amazing! Thank you for giving us the opportunity.

This was probably the best experience we have ever had. This place is so private and surrounded by nature, perfect to enjoy amazing sunny days away from the city commotion. The whole place also exceeded our expectations, obviously through photos you don’t get the real sense of the house, but it was better than what we were imagining. Silvia, who had personal contact with us, was absolutely amazing and worked very hard for us to have the most pleasant stay possible. We will definitely be back next year!

Abilio's place is amazing, bathrooms and rooms renovated and very well heated. In the social areas the rural and most classic charm has been maintained that creates a cozy and familiar place. The kitchen is equipped with everything and the appliances work wonderfully. Friendly hosts at all times. I recommend this place 100%, it is not too close to the city center but it is very worth it for its value for money.

We loved this house and the location and all the effort that was given from Pedro’s team to make us welcome. Thanks for the cake, the HUGE fruit bowl (that we nearly managed to consume), and the sweets, water etc. you thought of everything. The house isn’t in a tourist location but that is its charm, it’s so peaceful with a bar and supermarket in easy reach, perfect. You get some great recommendations , our favourites were Barzin, a ten minute walk, but the best fish restaurant has to be Oburaco in Esposende, the good was amazing. There is also S2 locally, it’s very good. We visited, Braga, Porto, Barcelos(Thursday is huge market day), Esposende. The house is located perfectly and we did not hire cars, instead used Uber or the local taxi company. We were a party of 8 and the house was large enough to allow peace in the garden, whilst others watched TV, or some used the gym, and others used the bikes. Note the bikes are great but there can be a forceful wind to fight!

Sweet welcoming by Ms. Adelaide, we had a great stay, also received a basket with fruits and eggs from the garden. Beautiful surrounding for idyllic walks nearby and generally very calm environment with a lot of nature around. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Este aloxamento sorprendeunos gratamente. Estaba moi ben equipado e limpo. Os espazos comúns son especialmente cómodos para unha viaxe entre amigo/as coma o noso. Os pais de Lídia son encantadores e fixeron todo o que estaba na súas mans para que a nosa estadía fose agradable e cómoda. Foi un verdadeiroệer coñecelos.

Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

Maria’s 5-bed villa in is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the love and attention to detail she’s poured into every corner. The villa is immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern comforts throughout. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The views are simply breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. It’s clear Maria cares deeply about creating a warm, welcoming space, and it shows. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! The weather was a bit chilly so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the lovely pool and bbq. But I’m defo coming back to this very place. Obrigado Maria.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

Beautiful stay with a beautiful villa!! The owners were very attentive.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

Family stay to spend Christmas, which went very well due to the excellent amenities of the facilities. Very spacious and comfortable house with several spaces for leisure and fun. The pool area and the dining room are 5 * (we didn't even notice the lack of TV, which in the meantime broke down). The house has very nice decor. We'll definitely be back.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Beautifully decorated with original Portuguese objects, this old house has a interesting history and soul. Additionally, you have at your disposal the modern swimming pool, tennis court and very well maintained park. Perfect option to chill out and discover beautiful region of Northern Portugal.

Marília is simply wonderful and made us feel right at home. The house is a find. It has a lot of character and a vintage and artistic atmosphere. In addition, it is super spacious and bright, comfortable and warm:) and has breathtaking views which make the place even more welcoming. The decor is really impeccable and cared for with attention to every detail. The private pool would have been very helpful in the summer. Without a doubt, it is a place I recommend without so much as a second thought, and I will definitely return whenever I have the opportunity. Thank you very much, Marília.

As a family with a lot of teens, I loved how many spaces this house had for hanging out. Also, having so many rooms with two single beds instead of shared beds is so nice when you have a lot of teens along. The outdoor spaces are so beautiful and peaceful and the yard is full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed the ease to reach Guimarães. We would happily return to this lovely home.

We had a wonderful stay! Aurora was a fantastic host — she made us feel at home with delicious fresh bread, and the house itself was perfect. The pool was a great way to cool off, the beds were super comfy, and everything felt very safe and secure. Aurora also went out of her way to help us book taxis, which made everything so easy. Would definitely recommend!

The house is super spacious and well cared for, great for large groups. The garden and pool area are super pleasant areas. The hostess was very helpful and always available when necessary. The house has everything we need, the atmosphere is quiet and we love that the house is so well-equipped with matrecos, ping pong table, barbecue area and even pool buoys. I recommend your stay!

A wonderful property. The pool was amazing. We had everything we needed. Luis was great in answering questions we had. He looked after the pool maintenance while we were there. Would love to come back again.

This is a wonderful house. The garden is full of fruit trees and has gorgeous mountain views. The infinity swimming pool is secluded and a delight. I will miss my breakfasts on the terrace as well as the barbecues in the evening. The house itself is super comfortable, the beds, the showers, the AC... It's very well kitted out with anything you could need, games, towels for the pool etc... It is one minute walk from a very pretty bridge over a small river and two minute walks from a cafe that also sells great food (the steak sandwiches are a must!). The location is perfect to visit the area, you can be on the motorway in three minutes to go to Porto, Galicia, the coast etc... The hosting is also perfect. Thank you very much for the bottle of champagne and the great recommendations from Marco. We are a family with three teenagers and we all adored our stay. Strong recommend.
