A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The stay was great! We searched, on the recommendation of a family member, a quiet place to rest and that is exactly what was given to us. Daniela, host, has always been very attentive and has given her utmost to provide us with a spectacular stay! The apartment was fully equipped and it was easy to feel at home! Many thanks for everything! You got my expectations to exceed!

The apartment was fantastic, with a welcoming host and a convenient location—especially for those exploring Braga by car. However, we found it a bit uncomfortable that it was a private residence with all the host's belongings still there. Additionally, the requirement to pay 30 Euros for using the air conditioning or washing machine felt a bit high.

Peaceful and clean place with a unique location.

This was probably the best experience we have ever had. This place is so private and surrounded by nature, perfect to enjoy amazing sunny days away from the city commotion. The whole place also exceeded our expectations, obviously through photos you don’t get the real sense of the house, but it was better than what we were imagining. Silvia, who had personal contact with us, was absolutely amazing and worked very hard for us to have the most pleasant stay possible. We will definitely be back next year!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

excellent stay, only issue was with sleeping as the double bed mattress had plastic wrapping which can be noisy. no washing machine. Definitely would stay again.

Excellent stay on a very good location. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Rui was extremely attentive, received us on arrival, gave us instructions and tips about the area and helped us with questions at any time during the stay. We definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

We had a great time. The apartment lived up to our expectations, impeccably clean. This is the first rental we find so perfect in every way. The refrigerator was equipped with provisions to help us out for several days, as well as fruit, milk, coffee, tea, fruit juice. Thank you so much for your warm welcome. Despite the bad weather we could not swim in the pool, however, they made sure it was cleaned and we still hoped we could use it. The garden is also very well maintained. The house itself was as we expected, it was perfect for the 4 of us. There is plenty of everything and we felt right at home. Hopefully we can come back one day to spend time at the swimming pool!

Relatively easy access (mountain roads), located in a small village 5 minutes' drive from a supermarket and cafes/pizzeria, stone house completely remodeled inside, equipped kitchen, well-decorated living room, a large balcony with a spectacular view and a very cool swimming pool with ice-cold water.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is straightforward and friendly, we always felt we could turn to her if we had problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice again.

We had our first family trip to Portugal and chose to stay at Gallo’s House and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Toni, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and met us outside upon arrival. He showed us around the property and explained everything thoroughly, which was such a lovely start to our stay. The house had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, fresh towels, and all the essentials. The pool was beautiful and available to use whenever we liked, a perfect way to relax during our trip. The area is peaceful and quiet, ideal for unwinding, yet it’s conveniently close to Porto, which made exploring the city really easy. Toni also gave us lots of great recommendations on where to eat and what to do in the area. Toni and Cristina truly know how to take care of their guests. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and the place itself is simply amazing. I hope to return one day and stay there again. Highly recommended!
