This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Easy to find. Close to the highway and yet in very quiet natural surroundings without neighbors close by. With Wi-Fi and Netflix. Note: To save you money for your stay, we do not charge a cleaning fee. You can choose to clean up after yourself. Or pay 30 euros for us to do the cleaning for you. Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Thatched roof outside, unique design inside

The house has been newly renovated and has particularly unique furniture with attention to detail. The house has a large garden with a fire bowl in which every summer night becomes a beautiful memory. In the immediate vicinity (10 km) you are already on the North Sea and after only two train stations you are on Sylt. The cottage is a popular destination not only in summer, but also in winter it impresses with its coziness, to which the stove in the living area contributes.

Cozy thatched cottage in a quiet location close to the North Sea. Fully equipped and on a large property. You will occupy the house alone and the garden is also available for your exclusive use. From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

There is space for the family with and without children. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is a climbing tower and a soccer goal available. The garden is over 1000 square meters. There is space to grill, play or unwind. The garden is completely enclosed. Of course, there is also a baby crib in the house. The beach is 15 minutes by car. To Rømø about 40 min. Charging hybrid and electric cars is prohibited

We have modernized the approximately 200 m² vacation home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail. We have equipped and furnished the house the way we like it best. Thus, in addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and carefully selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. We now also have a sauna in the house. Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish space.

Ferienhüs Keitumliebe (Keitumliebe vacation homes)

The exclusive holiday home under thatch on Keitumer Süderstraße extends over two floors and offers enough space for up to six people on about 100 m². In 2024, the cottage was extensively renovated and furnished with a lot of love to create a perfect feel-good atmosphere. In the interest of all guests and to maintain the high-quality ambiance, we ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed.
