Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

Idyllic house in the countryside. The house was built by my great-grandparents about 130 years ago. The old timber walls have been picked up, and much of the old style is preserved. We rent out our funkish house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has high standards. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom attached to this bedroom. Outside, a large terrace with a lot of living space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 minutes drive from Egersund city center and about 5 minutes from the E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the yard on Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple who walk free. The house is very modern and well equipped.
