Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bonnie Doon

Fantastic location across the road from the lake. The house is set out great for extended families/friends with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and items left in the pantry are handy if you forget something, there are also plenty of games and dvd's for the kids, although we didn't use these as the weather was perfect for lake activities. Communication with host is fantastic, Anthony was very responsive. The house could do with a deep clean (window sills, skirtings etc) but we were more than comfortable and would consider staying again. Thank you Anthony.

Cannot recommend Di’s place at Kirwans Bridge more highly - perfect for a group to base themselves and visit nearby wineries and towns. Golden hour over the Goulburn is spectacular. Thanks for having us!

Andrew and Annemarie's place was perfect for our girls getaway in Marysville. Their home was very clean and tidy and spacious enough for us all. Beautifully renovated home with clean lines and modern decor, comfy beds and pillows. It was quiet yet only a short walk to town, lots of private outdoor areas to sit and take in the views on the front verandah or sit by a fire out in the back courtyard. There is so much to do and so many walks ! We all loved our stay and we hope to get back to Marysville and stay here again. Thanks guys ❤️

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

We had a terrific weekend at Villa Costa Lotta. The wonderfully designed and thoughtfully appointed house sits on a large block with lots of spots to relax and unwind. Great communication, lots of thoughtful and useful touches. Couldn’t recommend more.

Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. Place exceeded expectations, was there for work and this place was a wonderful place to clock off go for walks to the beautiful scenery around the lakes of nagambie. Host was friendly gave clear instructions, pool was amazing overlooking the lake 👌🏽 highly recommended.

Russell was an amazing host! Super warm and helpful — he helped light the fire for us, brought clean towels, and even let us borrow a knife to cut chestnuts. Really appreciated his kindness. Made the whole stay extra comfy. Thanks so much!

We were met by Steve who gave us an upgrade to a better room because the first wasn’t ready. We were given free access to the property which is in a lovely setting. We would definitely recommend Debby’s for a relaxing stay.

We had a great stay. The accomodation was cosy and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The outdoor pool area was lovely with a brilliant view over the lake. We also really liked the easy access to Harry’s cafe from the back of the complex, for a morning coffee and croissant.

The home is beautiful inside and out providing all the comforts you would need to help you enjoy your stay, not to mention the hot tub which was just what we needed. We had such a lovely time at Marty’s Airbnb. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up—every detail made us feel right at home. Meeting Marty was an absolute pleasure; he’s warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for his guests. We couldn’t recommend it any more highly. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnbs in multiple countries, and this one has topped them all. A true gem of a place—we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about coming back!

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

It is an amazing cabin in a peaceful and calm farm. We love how peaceful and calm it is as this is surrounded by a sheep farm with a river just next to the cabin. The cabin is brand new built and thoughtful designed setup and furnitures. This little place is basically a paradises inspiring my dream for my retirement.
