We had a nice, peaceful stay. The home has a rural location, but is not far from Trinidad. It felt very quiet and peaceful, and had nice views. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with wildflowers, vines, and trees. The air was crisp and fresh. We really enjoyed watching a large variety of different birds. They kept many feeders full, which attracted them to the area. The home felt larger to us than it looked. It was clean, and had everything we needed and more. The large family room was filled with large windows, books, and a flatscreen television. It was our favorite spot to relax. We slept great and always felt safe. What a pleasant experience!

What a gem in the woods! Saw lots of animals on the way up the canyon. It was easy to get to with the instructions provided. Damien and Kate were always quick to respond. It is so amazing how this cabin takes you to another place and time. It was a lovely escape! The night time decorative lighting is going to knock your socks off. The views around the area are breathtaking. They really go out of their way to create such a beautiful experience. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed was very comfy. The cabin was spotless and smelled so fresh. The doors on the porch had some sort of Native American historical plaque which was an amazing little easter egg. I think some parts of the cabin were built by a Cherokee artisan. What a story to tell! Definitely took photos. I really love this place and wish my stay was longer. I can't wait to return when I get more time off. I am extremely glad I chose this location for my little get away. Thank you Damien and Kate! I feel fully recharged.
