We welcome you to Matakana Escape. This modern 2-bedroom unit is the perfect place for your escape, to relax and unwind. It features stunning rural views and is bathed in afternoon sun. The large deck is perfect for BBQ’s and the outdoor area provides lots of space for kids to play. Matakana Village and Market are a flat 1km walk away. Private stand alone unit on our lifestyle property, seperate from house. The unit is well equipped with everything you need. Linen and towels are provided.

Kawau Island Treehouse

A wonderful summer and winter retreat. There are no roads or shops on Kawau so this is truly a place to get away from it all to relax or explore. The house is perched behind a pohutukawa tree in a quiet and peaceful location right on the waterfront. It is very comfortable, with 3 bedrooms sleeping max 6 and has full whiteware and entertainment amenities. No wifi but very good cellular coverage. Upon booking a full information booklet is supplied regarding getting to Kawau and use of the house.

The West Wing

Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life . Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . Suitable for wheelchair users . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.
