Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bompas

Eric and his partner have lovingly restored and built this property set around the ruins of a 12 Century castle. It is astonishingly beautiful. On the roof terrace there is also a small shared pool. We were here out of season, but it was a lovely hot day, so Eric got up early in the morning to open and clean the pool for us. The inside is equally charming and the nights were super cold, but the heating works extremely well. Eric is an artist and also showed us his atelier- really beautiful paintings. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is authentic with beautiful surroundings and the nicest possible host. I will recommend this to all my friends and would like to return for an extended stay.

This house was wonderful for us! We were a family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 children and we felt right at home. The house was spotless, and so welcoming. The village is quiet, quaint and truly French! It had everything we need for our stay and more the location was beautiful too, very peaceful and surrounded by mountains. we would love to come back!!

We spent a few days off in a wonderfully cared for place. Every detail of the space conveys calm and dedication, which made it very difficult to return to the city. The host family was charming and helpful at all times. A totally recommended experience. We would 100% come back!

I recommend the Cabanon for a quiet and relaxing getaway! The accommodation is impeccable and ideally located. Alexandra had everything planned and we were very well looked after. We'll be back for sure!

We had a very nice stay. The house is cozy, with fireplace, and especially with children ideal – there are many games, puzzles and books. Even on a rainy day, we were able to keep the kids busy so well. Everything is lovingly decorated, there is plenty of space, a very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden. A special highlight of course was the fantastic view and an evening walk on the dirt roads that start right behind the house and where there are chickens, cows and donkeys to discover. Joëlle was an attentive host and provided us with many helpful excursion tips and addresses. Thank you – we would have liked to have stayed longer!

Very pleasant stay. We were in Joch for a wedding, we really appreciated the proximity to the party room. We ended up spending little time in the accommodation but it was very nice. We appreciated that there were several bathrooms because there were 5 of us and to get ready for the wedding, it was very convenient. Thanks to Vincent and Natasha for their responsiveness and all the information provided in advance, it's really useful!

Fabrice was a great host and even phoned us to make sure everything was as expected. Location very good - near beach and restaurants. The house was well equipped and spotlessly clean. We hope to return next year!

Nickel apartment, clean, well decorated, nest. arranged, you feel at home there as soon as you walk through the door! Cyril and Viktor were incredibly welcoming, attentive and very responsive. Lots of service offered in the apartment, not to mention access to all streaming platforms on TV (it was a real pleasure). A big thank you to these gentlemen for hosting us, hoping to stay there again on occasion.

I would highly recommend this accommodation! The value for money is just unbeatable. I particularly appreciated the many thoughtful details – the equipment is high-end, from the modern kitchen to the elegant bathroom. The terrace was a real highlight, especially for my dog who also felt very comfortable there. The technical equipment is excellent, the internet connection is stable and reliable, and the kitchen is fully equipped – ideal for people who prefer to cook. The neighborhood is very nice and welcoming. The location in Brouilla is perfect for those looking for safety, quiet and relaxation. Surrounded by vineyards, the city of Perpignan is a few minutes away and the sea is only 15 minutes away. I felt perfectly fine and I would come back without hesitation. A big thank you for this fantastic stay – everything was perfect!

Eleven minutes on a bumpy pothole and stone littered road takes you to a beautiful place with beautiful views. La Taillede is beautifully located on the foothills of the sacred mountain Canigó. We stayed with our family in two pleasantly furnished gites (Noisettes and Cérises) where it was wonderfully cool despite the heat outside. Ali and Matt are two fantastic hosts. The second day the children made a ride on the donkeys up the mountain and the refreshments were ready at the top of the viewpoint. The communal meal on Tuesday was also a hit: good food and nice conversations with the other guests. The cooling swimming pool, the massage on request, tranquility and many animals on the property made the week complete. All in all, a lovely stay.

We had a great week in Collioure. The house is somewhat up the mountainside from the city, and you have good opportunities to relax in and around the house. There are also good hiking opportunities up in the mountains. The house had many zones where you could relax and enjoy the sun and the view down towards the city. The air conditioning also helped keep the temperature in low even on hot days. Kitchen and bathroom were nice and practical. We often made dinner ourselves in the house. The host was also very helpful in making all the equipment, spices and other food available for us. The pool was often used for cooling on hot days. Otherwise it is just a short ride to the center of Collioure or Argeles-sur-Mer to enjoy the beach life and restaurants there. Uber and bolt were reluctant to drive up and one should be able to master some French language to connect with local taxi. Recommend having a car available. On the property there is a peacock, which can get something close. The hosts are very easy to deal with and help with everything.

Very pleasant stay in this heavenly setting. We liked it so much that we extended the stay by one day. Marina is a very kind and attentive host who will allow you to enjoy the stay in complete relaxation. If we go back to the region, we will definitely come back! Thank you for everything ✨

A wonderful house, very free due to the enclosed garden. Nice spaces and very well equipped in all respects. The kitchen was also very nice. Children are also visibly welcome. Very welcoming reception and clear communication. We felt right at home and enjoyed it very much!

We had a great stay in this charming home that will delight those looking for calm, tranquility and large spaces. Despite the lack of amenities and activities in the village itself, everything is close by car. There is everything you need in the house to have a great time (private jacuzzi, ping-pong table, board games, books...) Finally, Michel is a really great host! Very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you for the advice and the places to discover. The only criticism is that the stay was far too short. See you soon! ☺️

We came for the weekend as a family, and we had a pleasant time. Hyper responsive hosts before our arrival, clear instructions, good welcome. The house is large and we were able to enjoy the pool and the fenced garden. Not overlooked around the house. I recommend it.

We have enjoyed the nicely decorated and complete house. With that, the pool was great! Beautiful house, quiet location and lots of privacy. Our adolescent children (16 and 18 years) also found it a perfect place. For activities with teenagers, you have to travel a bit, but there is plenty to do in a beautiful area. Communication with Emilie was excellent!! She is quick, thoughtful, very friendly and welcoming. Her mother too! We'd love to come back!
