Pigeon tower on the Weser

The pigeon tower is very idyllically surrounded by old park trees in the middle of the castle courtyard in Wehrden. Formerly built as a residential building for pigeons and since Generations in family ownership, pigeon towers used to give an idea about the size of the company and the status of the ruler! The tower impresses with its authentic decor with fun details reminiscent of its historical destiny. Everything is tailored to the octagonal shape, unique, small and fine.

My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

On the outskirts of the village of Stahle, district of the world heritage city of Höxter in the beautiful Weserbergland, directly on the Weserradweg. The small apartment (34 m2) is bookable for 2 to 4 people and has a living-bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. A large garden with sitting areas and sunbathing area can also be used. Smaller pets allowed. Wifi is available.
