Holiday houses in Bocas del Toro

Nuestra estadía fue excelente, pudimos compartir en familia, a la vez el Internet estaba excelente y mis hijos pudieron aprovecharlo, el anfitrión estuvo siempre atento, nos dio muy buenos consejos para aprovechar la estadía, inclusive el ingreso y el egreso estaban incluidos, es una propiedad preciosa excelente para descansar y realmente recargarse de energía, 100% recomendado

We had a wonderful stay at Red Frog Island Beach Resort, where Brett's house is located. The house is great, with a wonderful pool and grounds, large bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, and a nice kitchen. Brett was communicative, often responding within minutes of my emails. He was also accommodating when questions or challenges arose. The resort is also great! The villas are spaced very far apart within a large forested area. My kids loved seeing sloths, monkeys, and red frogs. The Beach Club restaurant has a diverse menu and reasonable prices, and is well located next to a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Just past the pool is a great beach for walking along, wading in, and even doing some body boarding. The resort has an adequately stocked store, as well as a spa. Unless you enjoy walking and have time and energy for it, I recommend renting a golf cart during your stay. Having a golf cart made it much easier to get around.

Sterling was very responsive and informative. The apartment and communal dock were awesome.

Ce logement est sublime. Nous sommes perchés au milieu des arbres avec vue mer. C’était propre et bien équipé (gel douche, shampooing, crème, liquide vaisselle, éponge, de nombreuses serviettes de bains, peignoirs,…). Nous y sommes sentis très bien. A noter également que le lit est extrêmement moelleux, nous avons très bien dormi! Malheureusement nous avons eu 2j de pluie + vent, ce qui a rendu le salon/salle à manger inexploitable pendant ces deux jours. Si la météo est clémente en revanche, je recommande à 100% ce petit havre de paix. Les hôtes sont réactives et très sympathiques. Les instructions pour arriver au logement ont été très claires et nous ont permis de guider le conducteur de bateau à destination. L’arrivée autonome avec une boîte à clé fut pratique! We had an amazing time in this hideaway, surrounded by nature. We were woken every morning by the sounds of howler monkeys and birds. Saw yellow tails, monkeys, toekans and humming birds in the garden. Short drive to beautiful bluff beach (or 40 minute walk) and short drive to Bocas town for lovely dinners. Host Wally is amazing.

I would give 6 stars if I could, we totally loved cocovivo. It is about 25 min boat ride from Bocas Del toro but it’s so worth it! Juan, Sarah, Andrea, and capitan and mazu (the dogs) greeted us warmly. The food Andrea cooked was delicious and she was so sweet! The hut itself is very cute and we loved everything around it. We saw some sloths, lots of crabbies, a stingray, jellyfish and beautiful corral. We had very nice company staying in the other huts and Sarah and Juan did their best to make us feel super comfortable. I would 100% recommend cocovivo to anyone looking for a fulfilling experience.

Bocas Del Toro is an amazing place. This rental is close enough to the town of Bocas but far enough away for a peaceful and serene experience. Right next door there’s a great beach club called Pipa which has outstanding food, drink, and people. M The private pool was clean and refreshing. You literally go to sleep listening to the waves crash on the shore. We rented scooters the entire time we were there. The scooters were safe to leave in the front yard of the rental. Just rent this place!

The casita that Vanessa and Jack built is a dreamy place and way more beautiful than I imagined. I will never forget the feeling of sleeping with the sound of the waves in the background. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy it! Their place was full of “toys” we could use for free during our stay like kayaks and easy access to a private beach right next to the house. Jack was so nice to pick us up at a nearby location and drop us off when we got off. You will never regret visiting the casita, just make sure to buy some groceries before you check into the house!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin in the middle of the jungle for 2 weeks. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen possessed all the essentials. We loved waking up with the sound of the birds or jungle rain. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The host provided many board games and yoga mats which were a nice touch. Steve and Victoria were very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended!
