We enjoyed our 4-day stay tremendously. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed stepping onto the beach to explore the rock pools with our infant. There were supplies to keep us warm during a stormy winter and we appreciated the extra details (American and local plug point options, dishwasher, coffee maker etc). Thank you to our wonderful hosts who were always responsive and helpful.

Lovely and comfortable cottage. Private entrance, clean, comfortable and lovely amenities. Great location for what we needed, ie getting around in the Southern suburbs. Parking is on the street, but the area seemed safe and we had no issues.

Our short stay at Glenda's place in Milnerton was truly awesome. The tidy unit was very well furnished and equiped with everything we could ever need. The living space and outside fascilities were great too and we never felt cramped. We had a wonderful time in Cape Town and surrounding areas and we received great suggestions for restaurants, shops and other attractions in the area. The central location of Glenda's place was also great and we could easily navigate our way right around the greater Cape Town area. We'll definately visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

I had the most delightful stay! The family were all lovely, including Blue🐶. Mark gave me an excellent tour of the place. He, Cathy and Jarad have me such a warm welcome . The place was peaceful and felt just like home. I was very comfortable and slept well!! I’d been travelling for a while and this was the perfect spot to spent a week recouping and working remotely. I will definitely be back! Thank you all so much.✨

Beautiful home and a great space for a family or small group. Located just down the road from botanical gardens in a gorgeous neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Our group included a couple of small kids so we appreciated that there were plenty of at-home activities when we were not out and about in Cape Town (pool, hot tub, playground, smart TV, books). Wish we could’ve stayed longer — hope to come again!

A haven of quiet and natural beauty. This should be a ‘best kept secret’ for selfish reasons: I want to come back.

A Quiet, sunny cottage in their yard. Parking beside cottage, all very easy. Durbanville is a lovely town with everything you need including plenty of wineries.

Great and convenient spot with fabulous hosts. Wonderful garden. There is a preschool next door and the house is conveniently close to a small highway, so you can hear kids and some traffic during the day. At night it was quiet. It was a but chilly and wet to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Would recommend.

Waking up to a view of Table Mountain and Nicky’s beautiful garden - bliss! Being on the Alphen Trail (for walking and running) - double bliss! If you love being surrounded by greenery, with a hadeda or two in the garden, and the occasional glimpse of Nicky’s charming ridgeback and dachshunds, book Francolin House. As a born-and-bred southern suburbs local believe me when I say, it is the ideal base for exploring this side of the mountain. Some of the Cape’s oldest vineyards are on your doorstep with more superb walking and the most delicious restaurants and delis. Further afield there’s Tintswalo in Hout Bay (think 5 star Michelin-style tasting menu with tables metres from the Atlantic). For old-fashioned Cape Town charm you can’t beat the Fasle Bay coast. Cape bean-to bar chocolatier Honest Chocolate has an outpost in Kalk Bay. Go for the almond choc cheesecake, pocket a few handcrafted chocolate bars like the fynbos, rooibos and naartjie. Second time we have used this property. Jasmina is incredibly welcoming and responsive and she made sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well located stay with a top tier host. Will certainly return.

My stay at the cottage in Constantia was nothing short of amazing! The cottage is beautifully furnished and practically laid out, making it a perfect home away from home. Located on a tranquil property in Constantia, the peaceful surroundings helped us unwind and enjoy our stay over the Easter holidays. The stunning swimming pool was an added bonus. Our host, Michelle, was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to accommodate all of our needs. Her hospitality truly enhanced our experience, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Overall, this was an incredible experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing and delightful getaway.

My stay at the Forest House was absolutely wonderful. The property is serene and beautifully maintained, offering a perfect environment for both rest and creativity. The apartment is thoughtfully designed, incredibly comfortable, and had everything I needed and more. It was an ideal setting for writing, hosting meaningful conversations, and unwinding after full days. Absolutely loved the outdoor sitting to enjoy meals in the stillness of the forest. I even hosted a delightful brunch in the gentle rain. Thank you for such a restorative and inspiring experience—highly recommended!

We loved this Airbnb! We felt very safe and comfortable with the location. So glad we decided on this one. It was centrally located and a nice area. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the mornings. We rented a car and enjoyed having that to drive to other parts of Cape Town. The apartment itself was so nice. It was cozy but not cluttered. It was so clean!! And we enjoyed the lighting and textures throughout that truly made it feel like home. We kept saying “We would totally live here”. The bed was comfortable and the shower was delightful!! Andreas was very nice-meeting us upon arrival and was always available if we needed him. We would definitely recommend this space. It was our first time to South Africa and this apartment added to our absolutely lovely time. We didn’t want to leave.

Superb, homely and memorable!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house itself was spacious (even more so than the photos), clean and beautifully presented. The beds were comfy and with lovely linen, there was a well equipped kitchen, we loved the outside fire pit area and we really enjoyed the views. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, but just far enough away to be quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this Air BnB and hope to stay again.

What can I say but very positive words? The location was ideal but the best of this place in Cape Town is by far Pelle and Pernilla themselves. They are very attentive, welcoming and excellent knowledge of things to do. They gave us a very warm welcome and excellent recommendations that made our experience of Cape Town even much better! Will definitely look forward to returning!

Nolene is an absolute super host - her generosity and thoughtful touches made my stay truly special. The cottage is conveniently situated in a quiet suburb within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The cottage is perfect in every way with everything one could possibly need and the peaceful garden added such a wonderful sense of privacy and calm. I hope to visit again.

Great location, beautiful space. Had a lovely stay here and would happily stay again! One note: if it is raining, the stairs leading down to the front door can be a bit slippery so watch out there ☺️

This is one of two Airbnbs on the same property that we used for our stay, so we were able to accommodate all family members on this visit. This Airbnb feels like a home away from home, and whenever we visit Cape Town in the future, we would chose to stay here. Anne is a great host and was very responsive to our needs.
