We had such a lovely easy weekend away - exactly the break from the city we needed. A cloudy and chilly weekend, and the fire inside made it so cosy. The kids loved the hot tub and glorious wild walks on the beach. We’d love to visit again.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a lovely weekend stay with loved ones as well as our beloved two dogs who had a lovely vsisit, felt like a visit to family home down memory lane. Loved the great fire place and lovely kitchen perfect for home cooking. Had a lovely restful visit enjoying books, and each others company with the songs of frogs in the back ground and a quick walk to the beach for the doggos to play. Thanks again.

We had a perfect stay at Welgelee. The house is beautiful and well maintained every other day. The staff was so kind. The pool was amazing. Loved everything about this place. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave.

I use Airbnb A LOT. I book 3 or 4 places a month & I must say, this is definitely top 5 for me! We felt right at home from the moment we checked in! Jay was a ray of sunshine. Her lovely energy makes you feel like you are meeting an old friend. She took the time to read my profile & seeing that I love plants, she gave me permission to play in her garden the whole week. This was the highlight of my stay. These 2 wholesome beings are such a lovely couple that goes above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & taken care of! Their caretaker Mr Darlington was friendly, helpful & there whenever l needed his assistance! This home is very comfortable, safe, clean & had everything we needed. It looks even better than the pictures! The outdoor garden is so cosy. You can braai or just chill & enjoy a quiet evening! check out was ofcoz sad, l wish l could’ve stayed longer. Our whole stay was exactly what my little family needed. Would definitely recommend & we plan on staying here again!

What an absolute spoil it was for us! We did not want to leave. seb and his parents were so nice and accommodating. Bella was the highlight for my partner and I as we love dogs and we absolutely loved her! Such a beautiful peaceful space. We will definitely be returning soon The scenery and the space itself is absolutely beautiful Perfect for little romantic getaway Space is private and quiet ♥️ so happy we chose them!

What a wonderful hidden gem in Cape Town!

We stayed for 10 days and felt right at home. Very convenient base with lots of lovely restaurants and outdoor activities nearby. Nice to have the little extras in the house to make life easy- dishwasher and washing machine tabs, salt, pepper etc. Support from Jon and team also very smooth. We had a super time and would absolutely stay again.

Sandrine was very welcoming and I instantly felt right at home in the garden cottage. There was a great spaciousness about the space and I felt like my privacy was maintained throughout. Beautiful showers and nestled in a lovely natural area - I look forward to being back next time

We had a wonderful stay at Hans holiday home. We loved all the space and the beautiful outside area., our 3 children had a great time in the swimming pool. We felt very comfortable and relaxed as soon as we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a wonderful stay in this gem of a hidden cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom full of light. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and well supplied with cleaning materials and amenities. The communication with Carmen was quick and responsive. Perfect location and walking distance to V&A Waterfront and a lovely Spar, supermarket just down the road. Will mostly definitely recommend 👌 Thank you Carmen and team for making this a memorable stay.

It’s rare to walk into an Airbnb and be blown away after already having seen photos. This beautiful home exceeded all expectations. We felt right at home from the first moment we saw Sunshine Cottage and the relaxing vacation time could begin immediately. The reception was very warm and there was a short briefing, but in itself everything is self-explanatory. Karen is an exceptional host, helpful, very responsive and accommodating. The cottage is lovingly furnished, well maintained, stunningly clean and most importantly fully functional. The location is exceptional as well, easy to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Mia personally, however she was quick to respond to all questions and messages,she is very attentive, responsive and a friendly host. Mark is friendly and obliging and quick to respond to any questions aswell. The cottage is quaint and equipped with everything one might need, if the weather wasn't terrible,I would have used the outside bath for sure! They recycle too, which I wish other folk would do on here 👍🏼 Merci Mia et Mark!

Highly recommend. Beautiful, airy and light cottage located in a safe area. Plus points - Able to go for walks/runs 🏃‍♀️ - Central (easy access to Highway to drive to the CBD/SeaPoint/ Hout bay etc) - 2min away from Cavendish - Near to a Africa Padel 🏓 Rob was super helpful and so accommodating.

We spent 4 days at the cottage and had a lovely time! We were really impressed by how clean the place was, the cottage itself is located relatively remote but with easy access via Uber to and from. The cottage was equipped with everything you need and we found it to be a private stay without interruption. The surroundings are beautiful, with the porch having an incredible view of table mountain and private access to walk into the Groot Constantia vineyard. Would absolutely recommend as a quiet getaway and many thanks to Lucy for being such a great host, we would definitely stay again!

A cosy cottage perched on the back of a mountainside with beautiful views stretching out towards Houtbay. We felt very safe and enjoyed the calming environment to relax and unwind. Home was clean and tidy, communication was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.
