Everything is crooked & lopsided and low! Back-to-basic, cozy chatter instead of beeps but with infrared sauna. Lovely to relax before you roll into the nice double bed. To wake up in the morning with (or by) the smell of freshly baked rolls (bakery around the corner). Here you forget the hectic and stress of everyday life!

Enjoy the unique charm of this lovingly restored half-timbered house. Great location with sun terrace on the Ahrquelle, lake and various restaurants. Way of St. James, Eifelsteig and Ahrradweg cross here. You will have the entire upper part of the house to yourselves! The apartment is not lockable because of the emergency exit. The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a postal station by Thurn and Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters from the Ahrquelle, the Posthalterhof is one of the oldest buildings in Blankenheim.
