Monthly Rentals in Björkshult

We had a wonderful time at this lovely, very quiet cottage. The ovens make it a cosy place during winter and the house has a nice rural charm. The house is right next to a little forest circular walk and there are stunning lakes all over. The check-in experience was straight forward and Andreas is a helpful and friendly host. The cottage was clean and everything worked well.

I had seen the pictures before I booked, but it was more cozy when I got there. Petra is very nice and has an eye for detail and a feeling for how to decorate so that you just want to stay and don't long for home. Everything was clean and well thought out and Petra showed me around so I felt welcome but then left me in peace and I enjoyed being able to sit in peace on the patio all evening. This time I was in transit after a few days on Öland but I will be more than happy to come back here again! Thank you so much for giving me such a fantastic stay in Älghult!!

Wow!! What an idyllic place! Great and lovingly furnished house and a super nice garden! And then the view across the lake on top! Wonderful!!! Here you can really relax and recharge. Thank you Josefine for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage for 1 week. Thanks a million again for even letting us extend for one more night and enjoy the fantastic view one more day. The kids also had a lot of fun! The house was equipped with everything you need. Even toys for the children were on site. Our favorite place was the bench in the conservatory :)

This is our second time staying and it was just as good as the first. Charlotte is so kind and helpful. The location is so beautiful with the property right on the lake. It is the perfect spot to disconnect and unwind. You can swim, walk and immerse yourself in nature or stroll the 20 minutes around the lake to the other side where there are a few places to see (2 shops, 1 with a cafe inside) and just the noise of the birds in the trees to listen to. The place is a tiny home, so don't come if you need a lot of physical space inside, but it encourages you to slow down and relax since there aren't a lot of things/items/clutter calling your attention. It is also dog friendly and they are very good with dogs, even my big, scary to some looking boy who loves to bark as a greeting. They knew how to handle him, stay calm and give space. We absolutely will come again. Thanks for an amazing week!
