Holiday rentals with lake access in Birmingham

We booked this accommodation for a conference at the NEC in Birmingham. It was very close to a bus stop for the airport & NEC. The accommodation was also very clean. Atena kept us updated and responded quickly to messages. We'd recommend Atena as a host and this accommodation!

wow, this house really suited our needs and was great to come back to after a night out in the city. It felt like home from home. The downstairs cinema room is a nice touch too. The kitchen diner was the hub of the house where we all could chat in comfort. Beds were nice and comfortable and very clean. I plan to come back to Birmingham for an event that my friend is gigging at so I will definitely come back and I will refer my friends here too as it was such a nice place to stay. woke up to a lovely view of the lake. Thanks so much for providing us with a lovely place to stay at a good price

Perfect home away from home. Debbie’s home was ideal for us whilst we were having renovations. As with all renovations, there were delays which meant we extended our stay which was quickly accommodated by Debbie. The location is quiet and with the park less than 2 mins from the house was perfect. The home itself had everything you could need for a long term stay with fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine and dryer. The outdoor garden was perfect for catching some sun during WFH days. Communication with Debbie was great as she was was always responsive and helpful. Very glad we had a cosy homely 2 months here whilst away from our home.

The apartment was stunning and impeccably clean, located in a fantastic area in Solihull with excellent transport links, restaurants, shops, and more nearby. The host went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. If you’re planning to book in Solihull, this place is undoubtedly at the top of my list!

great place to stay. the arean is a 10 min walk. Safe well lit streets. free parking outside. Situated in a quiet little gated street.

James is an amazing host. Communication was perfect and the place was great for my guys who were working in the area. Can't recommend enough!

Very quick responses from Joseph. Excellent information received . Friendly. A lovely spacious flat ! Great to have 2 bedrooms both with double beds. Plus 2 bathrooms ! Clean and easy to find. We stayed here to be close to the NEC as we went to see Torvill and Dean. Hotels around the NEC were expensive and this worked out a much better and cheaper option for me and my daughter. Highly recommend.

2nd time staying here for an event in Birmingham, perfect location, clean, tea and coffee facilities plus snacks 😋 Will be using again in future

Lovely stay in a great location. Jo & Martin were great hosts. Very accommodating and flexible. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say, is for the money charged for the Airbnb, a few upgrades would make the stay even more better, such as a new modern TV (TV was old and small), a new modern washing machine (again very old), wardrobes needed hangers, a bathroom bin and a bath mat.

This is my second time staying at Funke's place within a year. It definitely makes me feel at home. I love that there is driveway parking, the neighborhood is very quiet. It was very cold in England when I visited in January so the heat was working properly and I was very cozy. As long as this property stays available I will be staying here every year when I visit the UK.

First AirBnB experience; needed due to building work at my own house which is only a mile or so away, so we weren’t there as a holiday or a break but The Barn suited us well as a temporary home base. The property was immaculately clean/presented and we were very comfortable there. Although Mick and Linda are right next door, The Barn is entirely private and they are helpful and friendly but never intrusive. We had to extend our stay due to renovations overrunning and Linda was happy to help with the process of extending the booking. Leo, our large German Shepherd isn’t the most sociable of dogs so we didn’t go on the bridle paths etc but he was perfectly happy to go on his other walks about the place and it was very convenient for just popping him out in lead, just like we do at home. So he also gave a “paws up” for his stay. Highly recommend The Barn for a stay and Linda as a host.

Beautiful location overlooking the small lake and rolling hills of the countryside. Property was exactly like the pictures, was lovely to eat out on the wrap around decking. Comfortable bed, kitchen had everything we needed. We had a really relaxing, peaceful weekend.

This is our second stay at Helen's and we hope to have many more. The cottage is adorable, the inside is full of character and has everything you need and then the gem of a garden is beautiful with lovely furniture to enjoy in the sun. The view from the garden is gorgeous and this morning we were treated to watching the comings and goings of a baby dear! Couldnt be better! The location is superb, for pubs, cafes and walks. This is a perfect place, thank you Helen
