Biri racecourse is also within walking distance. (850m) There are nice hiking trails in the area and a short distance to the largest ski resorts in Norway, Hafjell, Sjusjøen and Kvitfjell. Biri is a town by Mjøsa with a short distance (30 min) to the 3 towns Lillehammer, Gjøvik and Hamar, with all that entails of opportunities. Good bus connections and bus stop right outside the apartment.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Large stately apartment in the center of Lillehammer

Welcome to Lillehammer's perhaps most stately house with apartment over three floors. Newly renovated in 2020 in one of Lillehammer's oldest farm buildings dating back to 1659. From the balcony you have an amazing view over Mjøsa and the apartment has sun from sunrise to sunset. In the apartment there is a new large kitchen, dining room with table space for 8 and a large living room with a nice sofa and large TV, bathroom and guest room. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with French balcony and a super view.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
