Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Birch Bay

I travelled with my wife and two young kids and we couldn’t have had a more lovely time. The home was kid-friendly, the neighborhood was quiet and welcoming and Emily’s cookies were absolutely delicious. The home was perfectly fit for a family traveling with young kids. We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. If we find ourselves in Bellingham again (which I hope we do) Emily’s place would be top on our list.

We really enjoyed our vacation at Michele’s! It was the perfect spot for us with kiddos. The back yard was lovely and we enjoyed every afternoon/evening out there in the beautiful weather. It was fun to see the baby geese and otters in the canal as well. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach! We would absolutely stay here again.

If you’re visiting Bellingham or are looking for a relaxing getaway with family, this is the place. Very comfortable home with a beautiful view. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. It wasn’t far from good restaurants and activities. We liked the outdoor lights and fire pit. While we didn’t sit outside, it looked inviting. We’d stay there again!

The home was lovely and Otto was a great host. It was very clean and has a beautiful deck with easy access to be beach area. My children loved running on the beach while I enjoyed the views

Jim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the view from the front patio, was serene and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room/dining room area was quite spacious. The closet in the main room was large with plenty of hangers and storage. Overall, a great place to stay in White Rock!

Perfect for our brief stay the area. Quiet neighborhood with close access to the beach. Would definitely recommend Clay's place if your visiting NW Washington.

This was an excellent stay for my fiance and I. Kim's house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long-term stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a brand new dishwasher and oven. The bedrooms were very cozy, with extremely comfortable mattresses and sheets. The bathroom was also very clean, with lots of storage space for toiletries and things. The neighborhood was something special, too. its a gated community with a very peaceful feel to it. Several walkable parks, one of which we went to nearly every day we were there to watch the sunset over the bay. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Finally, the property manager, Shirley, was a real gem. She was so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind to us during our stay. She works hard to make sure the yard is kept up with, issues are resolved, and overall cares for the comfort of the guests. This is a 5 star Abnb that I wish I could have stayed at for longer. Dont hesitate to book!

2nd time at this home. The home has just the right amount of space for my family of 6. The backyard is large and provides ample space for my kids to run around. There’s a wonderful view on the deck of Mt Baker and the bay. Highly recommend this home.

My parents had another amazing stay at Kay's place. It is comfy and very homey. They also enjoyed sitting in the shade while watching the Farmer's Day Parade.

David was a great host! His communication was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. The location truly can’t be beat — right in the heart of Fairhaven, where you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It’s the perfect spot for anyone wanting to explore the charm of Fairhaven, and it’s only a short drive to downtown Bellingham. David’s apartment is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped, making it a comfortable and relaxing home base. I can’t recommend Emma’s beautiful stay enough! The studio is beautiful and had everything I needed for my stay. The property is peaceful and even though there were other guests staying on the property, my apartment felt private and I didn’t hear a peep. The bed is super cozy, too! I’ll definitely stay here the next time I’m in the area.

Lara and Casey were very accommodating as we stayed in their apartment for over a month. The place is beautiful and located in a very peaceful and relaxing part of town. It has everything you need for an extended stay in Bellingham, and they were super helpful and lovely hosts!

Such a cute place. It has an open layout and very clean and in a great area. Nice view of the water and walkable. It was nicely stocked and homey. Yes you can heat the trains but it didn’t bother us. We use a sound machine at night. I would stay here again.

This was my second time staying at Adam's studio. Location can't be beat! The studio is just as described. Very comfortable and very well equipped, close to everything I needed. Felt just like home!

This place lives up to its name, Hidden Gem. With the shrubs and bushes around the property and the terrace give total privacy as well as the beautiful sounds of birds and the odd passing squirrels and deer. Even being above quite a busy street, it is peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is really comfortable and has everything we needed for the 10 days we stayed. The proximity to town as well as some lovely nature walks and easy access to the walk along the Boulevard is wonderful.

Nelson’s place was fantastic! He goes above and beyond to make sure your check in is an easy one. I didn’t realize the location where you picked up the key was a distance away, but if you packed light you’ll be fine (9 minute walk). Thankfully the taxi waited for us and took us straight to his place. The views of the city are amazing and the location cannot be beat. I really hope I find myself back in Vancouver again so I can book his condo.

This was a really, really great find and stay. Dawn, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful - our only issue was someone who parked in our designated spot, which Dawn sorted out within minutes. Lars' condo is beautiful and well appointed, with many thoughtful touches including coffee and toiletries. One downside on hot days in the absence of air conditioning, however the unit has plenty of high powered fans to help. I would absolutely stay at Lars' place again. Thanks Dawn and Lars!

Extremely clean, enjoyed the modern finishes and open plan. Arrive when there’s daylight, it’s not easy to spot the condo in the dark.

Great location, walking distance to local hot spots and public transport. The unit is fully equipped- prof air bnb setup. Perfect for 4 people.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Mark’s place. Mark was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we truly appreciate it. The place itself was clean and private. It had everything to offer. It was truly a home away from home. I highly recommend Mark’s place to anyone visiting Vancouver. Leith's studio apartment is quiet, yet a walk around the corner from the main street. The views of the East Sound and surrounding landscape from the high up deck are beautiful. The interior is artfully well-appointed and equipped.
