This is a wonderful home. Our stay was excellent. The host is very communicative and responsive. You will love your stay here.

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

If you’re down for something simple but not full-on primitive, this place is delightful. The location is divine (right on the water) and Jackie is a great host. Now if you’re looking for something modern, this might not be for you — but for everyone else, I can’t imagine not loving this little tiny home!

Fantastic stay and delivered the solitude in nature that I was looking for. It was a great way to experience the San Juans. The view was stunning, the access to the beach was stellar, and one of the best ways to spend a few days relaxing. The loaner vehicle was perfect to get us from dock to house. Reminder, for anyone looking to book this airBNB, please be mindful of what you pack and bring as there is no store to quickly run to if you forgot something. Also, you need to pack out your recyclables & non-compostables. Overall, would stay again and have already recommended it to others as an Eco-friendly vacation destination.

Peaceful, well equipped home with an insane view! We couldn't believe how beautiful the waterfront view was, even when it was raining. Very quick drive to Deception Pass nearby for the thrilling bridge walk and some nice walks. Easy check in and comfortable, clean space. We loved our stay here.

Wow, what an incredible property!! We had a wonderful stay and very much enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, expansive deck, beautiful grounds, and private beach. It was such a peaceful place to spend a few days, and we hope to return. We were three families with three small children, and it was a perfect place for them to run around. Thank you Don and Kathy for opening your home up to us.

Love love this house. 4 of us ladies stayed here for a bowling tournament. Beautiful home!!!! Had everything we needed to cook, sleep, visit and the desk was our favorite spot. A quiet area, sleeping was great. The house was very clean! Bathrooms were stocked with shampoo , conditioners and soap. Would we change or add anything NO. Loved this home. anythingLotowels.

This place is GREAT 5 STARS! The landlord was incredibly friendly and gave attention to every detail and cared a lot for us. For every question: he was prepared and was so nice. The house as such is very beautiful und the view we had from the bed room was amazing. We drove 2 mins towards the beach and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets of our life. Would recommend 100%!

This was an excellent stay for my fiance and I. Kim's house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long-term stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a brand new dishwasher and oven. The bedrooms were very cozy, with extremely comfortable mattresses and sheets. The bathroom was also very clean, with lots of storage space for toiletries and things. The neighborhood was something special, too. its a gated community with a very peaceful feel to it. Several walkable parks, one of which we went to nearly every day we were there to watch the sunset over the bay. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Finally, the property manager, Shirley, was a real gem. She was so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind to us during our stay. She works hard to make sure the yard is kept up with, issues are resolved, and overall cares for the comfort of the guests. This is a 5 star Abnb that I wish I could have stayed at for longer. Dont hesitate to book!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea's place. The house was welcoming and my girls loved the loft style bedroom. It was clean, inviting, and a much needed peaceful respite for our busy lives. In addition to the house, Andrea was a pleasure to interact with. She was responsive and available for any and every question we had. Thanks again Andrea, we loved it.

Staying at Jason’s place was a pleasure. He was very responsive and flexible with check-in check out. Kudos to whoever designed and furnished the space. The design was super swanky and really helped us escape for our island visit. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. The shower was spacious with great dual showerheads. Best part is the location as it’s super walkable into town and we found a shortcut where we could take a short walk to the local brewery . Wonderful design great space.

I can't say enough good things about this house. It is such a special spot. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home. What stunning surroundings. The location is so quiet you can hear all of nature around you. We saw river otters and seals from the awesome deck, so many varieties of birds and critters. Seriously do yourself a favor and visit this place. I'm already planning our return and I got home yesterday.

We really enjoyed our vacation at Michele’s! It was the perfect spot for us with kiddos. The back yard was lovely and we enjoyed every afternoon/evening out there in the beautiful weather. It was fun to see the baby geese and otters in the canal as well. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach! We would absolutely stay here again.

William’s house was perfect for our family of three. It was so nice to have our dog with us, we appreciated this option for pets, especially with a fenced in yard and deck. The views were truly spectacular, location was ideal, and very close to the beach. The whole town was perfect to bike around, we brought our E bikes and loved that we could store them in the garage. My son loved the arcade and gym and my husband and I loved the fully stocked house. It was easy to cook and grill and relax. William’s house even had comfy beds, which is a huge win when renting. We would love to come back again.

The home was lovely and Otto was a great host. It was very clean and has a beautiful deck with easy access to be beach area. My children loved running on the beach while I enjoyed the views

We stayed here for a week while waiting for our household goods to arrive after a cross-country move, and it was exactly what we needed. The house was clean, spacious, and had more than enough room for our family of six to spread out and settle in for a bit. Communication with Marcellus was great throughout, and he was super accommodating when we needed to extend our stay by a day on short notice. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a comfortable and well-managed place in Birch Bay.

We were in town for our boy’s state baseball tournament but we will be back to Bellingham just for this place. This house was incredibly beautiful and the view is second to none! We saw bald eagles right off the back deck and sailboats on the bay. What a spot to rest! The hosts were great and very accommodating. We read the reviews about the train noise so we were aware going in. We actually enjoyed watching them go by from the back deck and the noise was noticeable, but didn’t bother us at all. They have a photo album of the construction process that they did as a family and it’s amazing to see what they went through to build this beautiful home. I’m a carpenter by trade so I could really appreciate the craftsmanship of this home. My wife’s favorite artist is Andrew Wyeth and she was thrilled that they had 2 of his painting in the house. Everything we needed, they had and we look forward to coming back!
