Originally a Maiensäss, the vacation home is now a special kind of retreat. It is located above the municipality of Schiers in the Prättigau on a southern slope at around 1100 m above sea level and is accessible by a walk of approx. 15 minutes from the car park. Guests will find peace and quiet from everyday life, are surrounded by forests and meadows and enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains. The Maiensäss is only suitable for guests in the winter months who can also find their way around in situations with fresh snow.

"d´Schwende" Come down without boredom

Our cabin is located in remote meadows at 900 m above sea level. From the village and the infrastructure so familiar to us all, you are still only 15 minutes away. The beautiful Lake Constance and the high mountains in the rear Bregenz Forest connect directly to the low mountain location. At the hut, our family and guests enjoy the enchanting tranquility. The conversations by the fire invite you to reflect and the children lose themselves in their fantastic worlds around the witch's house.

Rustic farmhouse with distant views

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

Ferienhaus Eixer am Bödele belongs to the municipality of Schwarzenberg in Austria and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Bödele ski area. The idyllic cottage is surrounded by the mountains of the Bregenzerwald and offers a warm, cozy atmosphere for people looking for peace, nature and authenticity.

Pflanzgarta Maisäss

The Pflanzgarta-Maisäss is located on a small terrace plateau, where a forest garden was formerly operated, above the church of Bartholomäberg in Montafon at 1350 m above sea level. The unobstructed view of the Rhätikon, Silvretta and Verwall mountain groups is unique. The Knappagruaba, the historic mine, is 5 minutes away. Circular hikes to the Rellseck, Alplegi, Alpe Latons, Falla, Monteneu, Itonskopf or Kristberg can be started directly from the accommodation.

Beautiful vacation cottage with rustic simple furnishings

Beautifully located vacation cottage, with rustic simple amenities. You are away from the hustle and bustle, but still quickly in the village to get fresh rolls, etc. Great starting point for smaller hikes and about 5 minutes from the Alpsee. In winter when there is snow, you cannot drive to the hut. Then you have to walk about 10 minutes. Luggage transport is possible by arrangement. Heating is with wood, in the bathroom there is a small electric fan heater.

Nestled in the tranquility of the mountains, our house offers the perfect retreat for nature lovers. With four cozy double bedrooms, it is ideal for families or groups. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook together, while our two bathrooms offer enough space for privacy. Spend convivial evenings in our rustic living room. A highlight is our large terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains - the perfect place.

Shepherd's hut "Gräbele" near Wolfegg

Wake up in the morning overlooking the Achtal and enjoy the view of Wolfegg Castle all the way to the Allgäu Alps. You can set up the chair and table in or in front of the trailer and take a break from everyday life on the edge of the donkey pasture. If you would like an organic quality breakfast (€15/person), you can order it from us on site or buy something for your stay in our organic shop. It's worth staying more than one night...

In the immediate vicinity of Kalbelesee and Körbersee (awarded the most beautiful place in Austria in 2019), the Pfefferkornhütte is surrounded by lush alpine meadows and rugged mountain peaks. Built in 1973, newly expanded in 2019 – as a ski & hiking hut, the Pfefferkornhütte offers up to 8 guests a wonderful home in the mountains of the Arlberg region.

In addition to the Birkenhof apartments, there is also a rustic log house for rent, which can accommodates 5 to 13 people. It has a kitchen, a living room with tiled stove, bathroom, toilet, hallway and 4 bedrooms. The outdoor area with campfire place, meadow and forest as well as of course the parking spaces are at all guests' disposal. Outside in front of the log cabin, the WiFi from the Birkenhof can also be used!
