Family-friendly holiday rentals in Besalú

We had a fantastic family holiday here, bringing together three generations - aged 3 to 77. There was plenty to keep everyone entertained including the teen and pre teen kids so that they weren’t stuck on screens! The padel court is so much fun. And the triple size jacuzzi was a hit with the kids!! The house was well equipped and clean, also providing basketballs and padel rackets/balls so we could play lots of games! The sea views from the terrace (enjoyed with a gin) were what holidays are made for. We loved it, Thankyou!

We went this weekend with my husband and it was an incredible experience, the apartment is very well cared for and with great taste, super clean and very well equipped. The incredible hot tub! It's perfect if you're looking for relaxation and intimacy. I'd like to highlight the tranquility of the area, and the common areas are very good! The heated pool is a treat. David took care of us wonderfully, very attentive and pleasant! We'll be back for sure! Thank you for your hospitality.

What a wonderful place to stay in BCN! The place is just as described, very spacious and squeaky clean. And real AC units in each room, which are such a relief in the summer. The markets right downstairs are super convenient for picking up whatever you need, and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. Bus is right on front, and the metro stop is a 5 minute walk. Beach is right next door. Very easy to get anywhere. Francisco (Paco) is the most delightful host! He met us at the apartment and even had the AC on already so it was cool when we arrived. He showed us everything and even sang us a song. He was always helpful and so enthusiastic about welcoming us! I would definitely stay again!

we had a great time staying at laia's place. it was very clean and well-decorated, and we really enjoyed the balcony and jacuzzi bathtub after long days of walking around. the neighborhood is central and felt quite safe. laia was very responsive and even let us check in early to drop off our bags. overall i would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting barcelona!

The place was very clean and well-maintained. Francesco was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Kim was extremely helpful. The apartment is only 8 minutes from the beach by car and super accessible. The apartment has everything you want for a holiday. It was like coming home after a somewhat exhausting day in the city of Barcelona. The pool is heated, so you can also enjoy the pool late at night. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

A big thank you to Yolanda and Manuel for the wonderful stay. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning! The pool is beautiful, the bar is a plus. A little paradise for us and our 2 pets. Despite the rainy day, we enjoyed the heated hot tub. Ping pong game at the top and a few basketball baskets relaxed us a lot. The inside of the house is beautiful and each room invites us to travel. In equipment, everything is there. Everything is carefully thought out in every detail for maximum comfort, well for young and old. We recommend this accommodation 100%. We will come again 😃

we had a great time in vila's guest house. He was very friendly and gave us great recomdations for things to do. Beautiful scenery and towns in the area. We used the pool one day which was great. Lovely place with lovely surroundings.

Great apartment in a beautiful location in the old town. A great bed, nice shower, good kitchen. Free parking for cars within walking distance, restaurants right next door. Environment, beach, culture can be done well with a car. recommend.

I think this is the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. Cinta was the most amazing & accommodating host we've ever encountered. The space was beautiful, private and surrounded by greenery. I would recommend this 1000x over. Thank you guys for a beautiful stay

This is the second time we've come to Esperança's cabin and it's simply spectacular. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and more (dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, smart TV, air conditioning...) small but with enough space and super cozy. Very comfortable beds. Our almost four-year-old daughter slept wonderfully. Then the garden is a dream, super cared for, with hammocks and a corner to eat and a great barbecue. We enjoyed a weekend of disconnecting from the city, listening to the birds every morning and priceless tranquility. And if you want to go shopping, Vic is 20 minutes away. We will definitely repeat!! Esperança is super attentive and accessible at all times. Thank you Esperança!

Thank you Carmen for a wonderful stay. Given some unfortunate rental car dramas, we had to seek Carmen's help & flexibility. SHe was amazing and went way beyond the call. We are very appreciative of her help! The house was beautiful - wonderfully peaceful and best described as a private resort. You will need a car but it is well worth exploring the surronding villages. The pool and mater bedroom were standouts for us.

We spent a weekend with friends in spectacular scenery. The farmhouse is beautiful, very cozy, has more amenities than you could ever imagine: comfortable beds, all the rooms have a bathroom, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, wifi, garden area with barbecue, hammocks, pingpong, games, pool... we enjoyed the company of 2 kittens, 2 dogs, goats...all a love and the hosts are super friendly and attentive to detail. The road to get there is not recommended for very low cars, but a normal car accesses without a problem. A thousand thanks Pilar and Mercé, we will be back for sure!!

The house is very nice and well cared for. It has horses nearby and a giant garden. The farmhouse is ready for 6 people, where you can enjoy several tables outside in the gardens to disconnect and play with family and friends. In addition, it also has a large enough pool and inside you can also find a TV and wifi. We highly recommend it!! Delighted to meet Eugeni and Pilós :)

The location invites you to disconnect and rest. The house was beautiful and modern. We really enjoyed the pool and the whole outdoor area because of the good weather. Ramón was always attentive to any need. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby. Mosquito repellent is recommended.

We enjoyed our time at Alicia's place. It is clean and tidy just as described and presented. More than the place itself we enjoyed the reception. Alicia was really helpful with providing instructions and recommendations and she was kind enough to provide a late checkout. Would definitely recommend.
