We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist riesig und das Haus war sauber und wir hatten ganz viel Platz als Familie. Zu Fuß kann man die Umgebung erkunden. Restaurants, Supermärkte und der Strand lässt sich zu Fuß erkunden. Eine tolle Nachbarschaft und vor allem eine sehr ruhige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Familie hat uns sogar morgens Frühstück gemacht, das unglaublich lecker war. Wir sind sehr traurig gehen zu müssen und behalten das Haus in schöner Erinnerung . Bis bald , Anna und Tim

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est fidèle à l’annonce, et le personnel nous a parfaitement accompagné de l’accueil jusqu’au départ. Pour profiter des différents points d’intérêts, je recommanderais la location de scooter car la maison est un peu en retrait des plages, par exemple.

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

Magnificent spacious and beautifully designed heritage home. Responsive and delightful staff. Immaculately clean and spacious. Large grounds. Quiet with sensational private pool. Sarath organized a chef and meals for us and was able up take us out on his tuk tuk. Very nice beach is a 4 minute walk away , safe swimming with a nice surf break a further few minutes walk. Look forward to coming again.

Roshan our host onsite was great ! We enjoyed the generous villa every day in its secluded spot . 8 min by Scooter from Ahangama - clean, relaxing nicely placed in the middle of the the forest . Sound of waves replaced by voices of birds and Monkeys. Highly recommended . Thank you Ben .

Gizelle was a super-host and actively helped us to plan a fortnight adventure in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 providing lots of tips and advice on what experiences and excursions there were, with an exquisite level of detail. We used many of her recommendations and were never disappointed. The villa manager and personal, professional chef Chaminda -was beyond attentive, always supporting and helping us with advice, and made the most AMAZING meals! We felt very spoilt and we loved the extensive range of meals and cuisines provided. A truly lovely and special man. All journeys and travel were arranged for us, and Kosala was an attentive driver for us, always telling us about the local attractions and sights with his extensive knowledge. The children adored him, and our son Leo would love to chat to him whilst he cleaned the pool. We came for my 40th bday where Chaminda decorated the villa for us and organised a cultural evening which was outstanding, and Gizelle even bought me a birthday cake 🥰Thank

I could describe this accommodation in 3 letters... WOW In my 3 years of travel ive probably never stayed in a place so beautiful and cool. I loved the semi exposed and outdoor feel of the place - green everywhere. And what a place to experience a downpour of rain - the scenery is just perfect. the apartment it's self was great, and the host was super helpful and responsive. I would absolutely love to stay there again

The staff of the hotel are excellent and we enjoyed the breakfasts they cooked. The pool area is beautiful. We liked the villa itself too. It would be nice if they put a washing machine in the unit. There can be some road noise at night, but not too much to sleep. Overall, we are glad we picked this place.

I allow myself to call Dananjaya already a Super Host! Staying with him and his family for more than two weeks I can only tell positive things and stress the warm, welcoming, and respectful hospitality I encountered. The communication was always easy and respectful, I received lots of valuable information and amazing support from him and his family, and still I perfectly enjoyed my privacy. Besides my room with AC and the connected bathroom I enjoyed a spacious area on the first floor with a well equipped kitchen for myself. My favourite spot, however, was the hammok between the trees. I can highly recommend the place, e.g. for solo travelling women as I always felt save and well treated but also for families due to the spacious area! I'm very thankful for the amazing time I had and happy to come back again soon.

The house is quite good for this price. Very good location: near product and fruit shops, doctor, gym. Only 20 minutes on foot to Narigama beach or Hikkaduwa beach (5 minutes by tuk-tuk). Great garden with different trees. Gayan is a good host, very kind, could help with every problem.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Located away from the main road so it was very peaceful and quiet. The master bedroom has air conditioning which was a lifesaver due to how warm Kalutara was during our stay. Other bedrooms have ceiling fans. Overall a very clean and spacious property. Thanks for having us!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Cocomari-Villa. Die Villa ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und liegt perfekt an einem wenig besuchten Strandteil. Somit hat man den Strand quasi komplett für sich und hat einen direkten Zugang vom Grundstück aus. Ithquan war sehr hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns einen flexiblen Check-Out ermöglicht. Das einzige was man wissen muss ist, dass es nur in zwei der drei Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage gibt. Ansonsten können wir die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 😊

The owner of the house and her father, who met and saw us off, are very nice and helpful people. This place has good internet, everything you need to cook. We liked to sit on the street balcony and watch chipmunks, calibers and other birds. Each bedroom had air conditioning and a fan. There were a couple of cafes nearby with local cuisine and very friendly people. Everything was great!

This is our second visit to Patty's Place. With lockdown and restrictions, we were unable to do a lot of the things that we would have liked but our hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. I would happily recommend to anyone Patty's Place for a holiday. Thank you

Die Unterkunft hat eine traumhafte Lage direkt an einem menschleeren Strand! Auch die Anlage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön gestaltet und läd dazu ein, sich dort aufzuhalten. Wirklich eine besondere und einzigartig gestaltete Bleibe!

Nagyon örülünk, hogy nálatok lehettünk ezen a nyáron! Nagyon jól esett nekünk minden nap a kedves kiszolgálás és a vendégszeretet, amit kaptunk! :) Szuper, szállodai szintű ellátásban volt részünk, főleg az étkezésekre gondolok! Babi és Mudu gondoskodása pedig megkoronázta a napokat! Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom, hogy nálatok töltse a nyaralását Sri Lankán, biztosan nem fog csalódni! We are very glad that we were with you this summer! We really enjoyed the kind service and hospitality we received every day! :) We had super, hotel-level care, especially the meals! Дом находится в джунглях, на холме, в 800 м от прекрасного пляжа. Дорога до пляжа не тяжелая, может только до дома пешком показаться трудноватой, но для нас это не было проблемой. К тому же в случае сильного ливня, что в Шри является нормой в независимости от сезона, вода не затапливает дом - одно из главных преимуществ дома на холме. В доме есть все необходимое: 3 спальни, 3 кровати, ванная комната с горячей водой (на улице есть летний душ) на кухне газовые конфорки, холодильник, большой обеденный стол. Везде есть вентиляторы, а в одной из спален - кондиционер. Очень понравился сад - большой и утопает в растительности. Хозяева очень гостеприимные и добрые люди. Организовали нам поездку в Эллу. По приезду приготовили очень вкусный ужин. Мы обязательно сюда еще вернемся. Хозяевам желаю удачи и успеха во всем. Спасибо за чудесный дом, отдых и доброе отношение. До новых встреч.

It is very comfortable, clean and big house with good location (about 2 km to the cost, 5 min by motobike) . For us was available second floor with 2 bedrooms, big living room, kitchen and bathroom. Owner family is living on first floor, they are very kind and lovely people, was helping us with everything we asked.

Fahiriya was a lovely host! He was always available whenever we needed advice or any supplies personally delivered from the local market. The property is very private with a small garden and lockable gate. House is spacious and kitchen was well equipped to allow us to cook at home. A small Cargills supermarket is 5 minutes walk away as well as a number of friendly food vendors selling seasonal fruit or local foods. Dewata Beach was also 5 minutes away walking. Great spot for our kids as the water was relatively shallow and waves not too big. Heaps of options for surf lessons/board hire if that's also your thing. There was also a great locally run restaurant called Madeena Beach Hotel which we frequented a number of times. Don't be put off by the appearance as it's excellent food without the tourist price. About 15min tuk tuk back into Galle Fort or the other direction to Unawatuna Beach. Overall a nice quiet spot which was perfect for our family getaway.

We (couple, 60) couldn't have found a better accommodation. We stayed for 4 weeks and it was a pure vacation in Champa's house. We lived in the ground floor apartment. The apartment has a terrace where we spent a lot of time and were able to look at the extraordinary vegetation and the exotic animals in the large, quiet garden. The hosts are extremely helpful, not to mention kind! We could contact them at any time. The apartment is spacious, clean and beautiful, we felt very comfortable and safe. One of the most beautiful experiences on our travels, living there and we will come back to enjoy the great atmosphere in Champa's house again!
