Holiday houses in Berkenwoude

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Logement tout à fait conforme à la description et impeccable. Il manque quelques ustensiles pour la cuisine (une passoire pour les pâtes serait la bienvenue), mais nous avons pu cuisiner sans aucun souci. Le chauffage (clim réversible) modulable, donc parfait pour les gens qui ont vite froid ou chaud comme moi!:) La situation du logement (paisible mais pas isolé puisqu'au milieu d'un complexe de golf) nous a beaucoup plu. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter du petit jardin qui avait l'air bien agréable!

I've just finished my stay with Arjen & Nathalie. They are very proactive and helpful hosts and sent me clear instructions on how to reach the loft apartment. Beyond that they weren't intrusive at all during my stay in Rotterdam (but I'm sure they would have been quick to help me if I needed anything). The loft apartment is a really cool mix of old-world Dutch and modern open-plan living, it was is lovely to have such a relaxing place to come back to at the end of a tiring day sightseeing around Rotterdam.

Wir besuchten die wunderschöne Unterkunft mit 3 Personen und unseren Hunden. Es war ein Gefühl von Zuhause, schon als wir die Tür herrein kamen. Ein schöner Blumenstrauß begrüßte uns und die Wohnung war einfach toll eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Der richtige Nordsee Strand ist nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, doch auch schöne kleine Sandbänke vom Grevelingen Wasser sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super und auch das Erklär-Buch in der Unterkunft hat uns das ein oder andere mal zum Lachen gebracht! Wir können das schön und ruhig gelegene Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen! Grade für Hundebesitzer ist dieser Ort wirklich toll! Danke das wir die Möglichkeit hatten diesen Ort zu buchen! PS: wenn man Puzzeln möchte, so wie wir braucht man evtl. noch eine Lichtquelle :D

Unser Aufenthalt in dem charmanten Häuschen auf der Insel war absolut fantastisch! Die Lage ist einmalig – nur 20 Minuten mit dem Boot vom Festland entfernt, aber man fühlt sich, als wäre man in einer ganz anderen Welt. Wer Natur und Ruhe liebt, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Das Häuschen selbst war gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Allerdings sollte man keine Angst vor Spinnen haben, da man sich hier mitten in der Natur befindet und es hier einige dieser kleinen Besucher gab. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Erreichbarkeit und Freundlichkeit von Nadine als Gastgeberin. Sie hat alle Fragen mit geduldig und freundlich beantwortet und stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ich würde diesen Ort jederzeit wieder besuchen, wenn ich dem Alltag entfliehen und einfach nur entspannen möchte. Absolute Empfehlung!

hermiëtte is realy a nice host, she's so helpfull. she have a really nice house too, it was so clean and neat. and it has all the facility u can have in as a family house. it is close to the park, and the park have a nice playground. its not too far from the station, its around 15min with bicycle, she even lend us their bicycles. it have a heater, so we don't freeze at winter weather, she also put so many winter coat, shawl, gloves, beanies, and warm blanket that we can use. it also have many toys n activity for children. my kids definitely love the big trampoline outside. such a lovely place to stay with family n kids. we love it. thank you Hermiëtte and Al, we really have a nice stay at this house. definitely will stay here again if we go to denhaag.

Parkhaus ist Gold wert da vor Ort (glaub ich) keine kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Es ist in dem Haus sehr sicher da alles doppelt und dreifach abgeschlossen ist. Also….wenn man möchte kann man das Auto auch offen da stehen lassen…da würde nichts passsieren. Super die Nähe zum Strand man fällt aus dem Haus und ist quasie am Strand der auch nicht sehr überlaufen ist. Restaurants en mass die alle mehr oder minder gut sind und man zu Stoßzeiten plätze bekommt. Als negativ vielleicht zu bewerten.. es gibt im Schlafzimmer nur ein Fenster was man einen kleinen Spalt öffnen kann dann liegt man aber quasie auf dem Presentierteller oder schalousi runter dann geht das Fenster nicht mehr auf. Da kein Ventilator da ist wird es warm!!! Auch der krach von der Straße war abends schon störend wenn die Jugendlichen mit ihren Mopeds oder wer auch immer mit dicken Autos daherröhrt. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert die Wohnung!!!
