The Bakehouse is a beautiful and interesting building! Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided and we felt very at home there. The village is a lovely place to go for walks in and look at all the old historical buildings. We visited Wheathamsted just a few minutes away which is a very beautiful small town to have a wonderful round.

We stayed one night to catch a plane. The location is great for the airport especially as it has parking. We didn’t use the shower, oven or washing machine but the place suited our needs. Wi-Fi, TV, microwave and hot water all worked well for us. Our adult daughter slept on the lounge settee and found the mattress/bed rather uncomfortable so that’s something to bear in mind. The proper bed was fine and the heating worked well and the location was quiet. We would recommend this place if you just need the double bed and we would certainly come again next time we fly from Luton.
