Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bellagio

It was a wonderful stay and the people in Nesso very friendly. The little shop nearby stocks everything we needed and the 'Sport' pizza restaurant was very good. Managing the stairs daily saved me from the need to go jogging. Nesso is special because there is no traffic noise although, if you are driving then the roads are narrow and need 100% attention. The ferries are really worth the fares, buses too. So many thanks and it will stay in our memory as a brilliant BnB

We spent a few magical days in Argegno as a group of four, and staying at this house was truly the highlight of our trip. The home is full of charm, beautifully spacious and comfortable – but nothing compares to that view. The giant panoramic window looking out over Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning and evening we found ourselves just staring in awe – that view is something we’ll carry with us forever. The balcony was another favorite spot of ours – peaceful, private, and perfect for a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the incredible scenery. Thomas and Mattia were wonderful hosts – friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. The town of Argegno itself is a gem – picturesque, relaxed, and ideally located for exploring the lake. The ferry port is just a short walk away, making day trips super easy. We absolutely loved our stay and would come in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a special place with soul, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget – this is it.

We stayed in this very nice apartment for 8 days. The terrace with the magnificent view over the lake and into the mountains is really wonderful. Unfortunately, the weather was not as we had hoped. Communication with Laura and Carla was excellent. Everything worked out very well. Thank you for that. The area in the north of Lake Como is quieter than that in the south and the places in the mountains are worth visiting. We will remember the Ristorante in Livo very well, as well as the venerable Romanesque church of Santa Maria del Tiglio in Gravedona.

The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house something very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the grills chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the wonderful stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

Difficult to access but worth it as the place is well designed, very quiet and private. The outdoor area is very enjoyable. Great place for a quiet stay.

Sally’s place is amazing! In a way that we felt bad for not staying at the apartment long enough to enjoy it more, cause we “had” to go out for Bellagio, Varenna etc. It is really confortable, complete and the location I cant even describe, an italian experience for it self.

The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nertila’s place, or should I call it the subtle Barbie dream house. 💕 She was extremely welcoming, helped with plenty of options/suggestions on how to get there from Rome way before our trip so that I could plan ahead accordingly. The place is literally across the street from the Bus stop and Ferry stop so you can visit all the hyped up lake Como places without the hyked up Como prices! It’s win-win. The restaurants, Gelato and Coffee in the Piazza were all amazing! Lastly Nertila was super responsive and available if we needed her for anything during our stay. 💛 We will be back for sure!!

We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Katie’s beautiful apartment in Ronco sopra Ascona. The view is absolutely breathtaking – Lake Maggiore stretches out at your feet, with Ascona and the Brissago Island in full view, framed by the surrounding mountains. The long hours of sunshine on the spacious terrace were a true highlight. The apartment is nice furnished, very well maintained, and offers plenty of space with its three bedrooms – ideal for families or small groups. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared – you can tell Katie is a thoughtful and caring host. The location is peaceful, yet just a short drive from Ascona and the lake. The combination of privacy, stunning views, and comfort makes this place a real gem. We’d love to come back – thank you, Katie!

A wonderful place to enjoy a few days of tranquility. When the weather is nice, you can use the terrace right in front of the house - the sun is on it all day and a tree provides shade if needed. It is about a 10-minute walk to the lake. If you want to work there: as a precaution, have sufficient data volume with you, as the Wi-Fi runs via an antenna (there is no other option on the lake) and accordingly can also be susceptible to weather. We felt very comfortable and the communication with Stanis worked super well. We would always come back 😃 to the car and parking has already been written enough in the other reviews. ... and when you wake up you can look out of the window at the lake from the bed

We enjoyed the stay with Franziska to the fullest. Such a beautiful place - a charming garden, the surroundings wonderful - what more could you want... we had made a stopover on the way back from southern Italy with our 3 children. We stayed at Camillo's place on Lake Como, and it was absolutely perfect. The home was spacious, charming, and just right for me and my husband. The setting was beautiful - right across from Bau Bau Beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The location couldn’t have been better, within easy walking distance to Varenna station, the ferry dock, the city center, and plenty of restaurants and cafes. We’re so glad we chose Varenna for our stay, but choosing Camillo’s place made it even more special. His dad was wonderful - so kind, warm, and helpful throughout our time there. If we ever come back to Lake Como, we would stay here again without a second thought. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay. Location was perfect - beautiful and quiet. Ferry access in town and garage parking were great amenities. Private dock access was nice - Nicola helped us arrange a boat rental and we were picked up right at the dock. Clean, crib for baby provided. Nicola was very helpful and always available. A few things to note: for grocery store, 15-20 m drive. Trash has to be disposed at public area: 12m walk. Thank you Nicola, we will be back!

Four of us stayed here for only a couple days and were incredibly impressed by the spectacular view of the lake and the surroundings. It looked like out of a travel magazine. The unit itself was quite nice with total upgrades everywhere which were in top condition. If you are driving yourself up the hill to the home be prepared for some fun driving adventures on twisting turning curves that are somewhat narrow. We always had a driver. We could see that it takes some experience to get good at it.

This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay in Oliveta Laria. I can't say enough good things about Marzia. She communicated well from the time of reservation through check-out and beyond. The house is beautiful, magnificent view and very private. Believe what she says about the driveway!! It is very steep and windy. Smaller cars much better. We had a large van and it was intimidating. The path through the woods to the town was nice. We would definitely rent from Marzia again!!

We just arrived home from our stay at Daniel's house and already miss it and want to go back! The views are absolutely stunning! The house was clean and was designed beautifully. The town where this house is located is charming, with a wonderful restaurant tucked in a piazza. Daniel was communicative before and during our stay. Loved our stay at Villa Flora Fauna Lago and would absolutely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Bellagio! The house was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. The views from the villa were absolutely stunning — a perfect backdrop to our mornings and evenings. The location was ideal: just a short drive to grocery stores, downtown Bellagio, and the lake, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The hosts were responsive and made sure everything was ready for our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in such a charming town. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. They truly embody the ideal concept of what Airbnb should always be. Thanks to the whole family
