Welcome to The Pond House! Nestled away at the end of the lane, on the cusp of country walks and soothing views, is where you'll find The Pond House. Just a short drive to the famously beautiful World Heritage Site of The Jurassic Coast and situated in Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Pond House is the perfect base to explore some of Dorset's most loved scenery. Max 2 dogs welcome, but please inform me beforehand. A £10 charge may be added at the end if there is extra cleaning.
“The Pond House and the garden area was much bigger than expected, I'm quite tall so I was slightly concerned I'd be hunched over for two days when I looked at the listing photos but in reality that wasn't the case at all, plenty of room. The fire was really easy to get going and kept the place nice and toasty. We're already missing the smells and sounds of the idyllic surroundings. A tip to any future guests and to Echo Carys' recommendations, West Bay beach is stunning and only a short drive away, as is Lewesdon Hill - a beautiful woodland area which is perfect for dogs and has stunning views from the top. We can't wait to return and explore Dorset and the Jurassic Coast some more :)”
The Cabin is privately located in Seatown a small hamlet under Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast and next to the SW Coast Path, 200m from the sea and world heritage Jurassic Coast. The Cabin is has everything you will need including a spare camp bed and bbq. View Lyme bay, sunset and sea while dinning or just with a drink, in the Anchor inn beer garden on the cliff. Dogs welcome.

Camelia Cottage is set in the grounds of Hill Farm, in the heart of the village of Morcombelake. Camelia cottage was originally a beach chalet brought from Seatown beach in the 1950’s. The chalet is a secluded, cosy retreat, hidden away down 12 steps surrounded by a Camelia garden. People are often surprised when they spot Camelia Cottage nestled into the hillside. It is the ideal location for getting away from the hustle and bustle, to enjoy walks by the sea or explore the countryside.
“Camelia Cottage is a really cosy and super comfortable little house. Perfect for the 2 of us with our dogs. Esther even provided towels for them as well as us! It's in a good location for great beaches, pubs and cafes. Being close to the A35 makes it very easy to find with the excellent directions we were given. You can hear the road but it's not disturbing at all. We had a lovely New Year stay and even had the camelias in flower for our visit. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, cosy and welcoming hideaway. Thanks Esther!”
