We had a wonderful stay at Ivy’s place in Penang! 🏡 The house was exactly as shown in the photos—beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable ✨🛏️. The surroundings were peaceful 🌿 and added to the relaxing vibe of our trip. It truly felt like a home away from home for me and my family ❤️. Darren is very good , the house is beautiful and comfortable. The room is big and second floors toilet is very very bid .. he tells us all the surrounding place that can eat and shop .. dryer suddenly can’t work ,Darren came to our house to take all of our clothing to laundry .. good service .. very worth staying here . I will recommend those who come Penang stay their house..

The location is very good, there are convenience stores nearby, you can walk to a lot of blocks, the host is very nice, we just arrived in Penang. The driver of grab is not willing to charge us automatically, but we just arrived, we have not been able to get the money, we have to ask Bryant for help in a timely manner. Thank you very much.🙏

A spacious home that's perfect for big families. Ideal for those who enjoy hanging out together, cooking meals, and relaxing near the beach. The beach is within walking distance, making it very convenient. We were even greeted by some cheeky monkeys outside the house – they weren’t dangerous at all and just added to the fun. It really felt like a tropical escape, staying by the beach with a touch of the jungle. Thank you to the host for the lovely stay!

The place was great! Exactly as it appears in photos and great location walkable to most things! We had a great time and enjoyed staying in this authentic shop house versus just another hotel.

Came to Penang for a prayer retreat and has a wonderful time staying here. Beautiful views of the ocean and convinient location are what makes this place a good choice. Apartment was clean and well equipped.

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

I'd give more than five stars if AirBnB would let me. We felt really at home, and would unequivocally recommend the place. Siew Lin is an amazing host, flexible, helpful. The place is great. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; there are two fully-fitted bathrooms, each with a shower; a great kitchen that is fully equipped; washing machine and a drying rack on the beautiful balcony; everything to feel like home... The location is also perfect. In the building complex there's a fully-stocked supermarket (downstairs and across a covered walkway, 3 minutes door-to-door), great restaurants, a beautiful pool that is always empty, a gym, great surroundings... We also like the geography in the city, nestled (somehow extremely quietly) between Georgetown and Tanjung Bungah!

Overall experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

nice place nice view , and a private place

A great apartment in a great location. The apartment quickly became our home away from home for our three week stay. We loved sitting out on the spacious verandah in the afternoons after a swim. The couple of maintenance issues we found on entry were addressed very quickly by Asmah and Hazwan. A WiFi/video issue crept in later in our stay, but we just watched less TV. The complex and its surroundings made walking a pleasure. We loved the 10min walk around the foreshore to get groceries at the nearby Lotus supermarket. A 2 ringgit airconditioned bus trip into Georgetown could be hailed immediately out side the complex. Our only disappointment during our stay had nothing to do with the apartment. To its credit the marina complex had many fine restaurants, albeit with menus that could be found in any city in the world, but as an ex Penangite my wife (and I) were disappointed with the complete lack of nearby hawker food stalls, which Penang is famous for.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks stay at Win's Place. The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Everything was very clean and we felt right at home. Although the building is close to a main road it is very quiet and you have a view of the pool from the bedroom window. There’s a bus stop opposite the building where you can catch several buses into town if you don’t want to go by grab (have cash ready!). A grocery store, a drugstore and the Friday Nightmarket (delicious street food!) are within 5 minutes walking distance. There is also a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. Win was a fantastic host who gave us lots of recommendations and always responded quickly. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Siang’s Place at Straits Quay. This was the first AiraBNB in a long time where a person showed up to check us in and out. Kev was our contact person during our stay and he was kind, helpful and always available. The unit was clean and comfortable matching the description on the listing. All of the other nice things that people have said in their reviews are true. Even though the unit does not face the water, the balcony is large and nicely shaded in the morning for enjoying our coffee. Some of the things we really liked include the pool and gym (new equipment in the gym and strong AC), the wonderful grocery store just a few steps away, the walking paths along the water (perfect for morning or evening walks), easy pick up and drop off for Grab, and the weekly cleaning service included in the fee. Great stay, we will come again. Thanks Kev and Siang.

Location is the best thing about this accommodation. Walking distance to many popular food places. The view floor the high floor was amazing!

great place... definetaly will stay here again if i'm in penang. I usually stay at urban suite or beacon. but this place is better. room is very clean, bathroom also very clean. there is a 7eleven, sushi ya and korean bbq downstairs. there is a detergen available to use and a washing machine. microwave working well and drinking water is a nice thing to have. recommended for traveller in penang. the host is also very helpful.
