Holiday rentals with lake access in Bath and North East Somerset

Our stay was brilliant, the surroundings were perfect and the secure walled garden was excellent for the dogs! Would recommend the Talbot Inn in Mells for food and drink too, only 8mins drive. Would love to stay here again, thanks Marie.

What a fantastic place in fantastic peaceful surroundings. We loved our morning coffee sat out in the conservatory! William’s place is lovely and spacious with good quality bedding! Unfortunately, we were unable to watch anything on Amazon Prime due to the WiFi but there were many of us using the WiFi, so we made use of the board games provided! Excellent location for a 30 minute drive to Longleat!

The lodge at Low Water is outstanding, we have stayed before with friends last year and wanted to take some other friends, they were equally impressed.. it has everything you need in the lodge, the surroundings and garden are beautiful.. it is walkable along the river into Frome town, where there are eateries, pubs and really great independent shops.. definitely will stay again..highly recommended..

We had such a lovely family stay at Pearls place for a wedding at clevedon hall (a 10 min walk away). I’ll start by saying the house is BEAUTIFUL! The photos really don’t do it justice. It had everything we needed and more and felt right at home as soon as we stepped in. All the bedrooms were so comfy and being on a quiet street, slept incredibly well. The house is in the perfect location, within walking distance of a great selection of pubs, restaurants and with an incredible coffee shop just round the corner (Fawn, 100% recommend). There were some great recommendations of things to do in the welcome pack. Pearl was really helpful with any questions we had and responded very quickly. Thank you Pearl! We all left very relaxed and will definitely be back!

This amazing, quirky cottage is in a spectacular setting. The house is lovely and spacious, really comfortable and full of character. The valley it sits in is teeming with wildlife: we saw deer, pheasants, an owl, butterflies and so much more, all only footsteps from the door. It was such a treat. Sam and Mark were wonderful hosts, very unobtrusive but easily contactable and helpful if needed. It was the perfect place to unwind for a few days with the family. We had intended to go for out and about, but instead, we spent a lot of time enjoying the garden, the pond, playing games in front of the log burner, cooking and eating together in the well-equipped, expansive kitchen and generally having a great time. We would love to return another time. Thank you to Sam and Mark for sharing your Enchanted Mill and the lush valley. Missing it already :-)

We had such a lovely stay here, the check in and out was extremely easy. The home itself is on the most beautiful estate, with stunning peaceful surroundings. We were able to fully relax and explore the local area. We will definitely be going again - 10/10.

Stayed with friends and had a great time. Mandy’s place is immediately welcoming. A great location to walk into the village, the lake etc. all the beds were very comfortable and the house has everything you need. I would happily return to Mandy’s place and Blagdon.

We booked this place for my dad while he was moving house, so it needed to be on the ground floor, easy to access and a good location. It was all these things, and Katherine was a great host. We had an issue with the internet half way through the stay which meant that he had no internet connection at all, this was a problem with the provider that was not able to be resolved despite her many attempts. In every other respect Katherine was a great host and the house was very tidy and comfortable.

Robert and Gali were amazing hosts as they are so warm, thoughtful, and kind and it made my colleague and I feel like we were back home. The communication is also unbelievable as they were always in touch and very responsive if there were any questions. The location is absolutely perfect as there are many places within walking distance and you have a lovely view right outside. The home is also full of all the amenities you could desire and is very clean. I would highly recommend this place for a short or long-term stay. Absolutely amazing place and incredible hosts!

absolutely amazing place to stay felt right at home first place we have stayed where we had different things already provided we packed lots to come with us tea sugar coffee dish cloths fairy liquid so we was stunned to see that all this was already provided we had a fantastic stay Debby & Grant was amazing from booking to getting home we will definitely book through you again and be back beautiful caravan in the perfect spot close to the heart of everything thank you both me my partner and children had the best time and made amazing memories 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dapps Hill Haven is a fantastic place to stay. I only can say positive things about all the aspects. The house is extraordinary equiped and most of the equipment seems to be quite new. Lovely decoration and furniture. Everything extremely clean and well organized. Clear instructions. The hosts were very helpful and answered rapidly. The house is located in a lovely and quiet place, next to a river and a park with nice walkings. Easy to park besides the house. I highly recommend this place!!!

Great stay at Benji's place. Big and comfortable and matched the description. Thorough and detailed check-in instructions (it's down a side road so needs the instructions). Really convenient location for town/restaurants/shops etc. A thoroughly lovely stay

A great place to stay in Portishead Marina!

We enjoyed our trip a lot because of this beautiful house and surrounding. We absolutely loved the interior. The house with its beautiful kitchen is fully equipped. We felt completely like home. The landscape is amazing and we were able to enjoy our breakfast outside in the sun on the beautiful terrace. Pippa was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful stay. The house was exactly what we were after. It was in an excellent location and had everything we needed. We will most likely book again!

The Hermitage was perfect for a quiet getaway. It is situated in a beautiful location, with plenty of walks from your doorstep. The cottage itself is perfect, with everything you would need for a few days. Clare is a very friendly and responsive host and left a few goodies for us on arrival. She also respected our privacy. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Hermitage!

We so loved our stay at Nicole's. So much so that we are already planning a return! The house was the perfect size for our family of 6, with the most stunning and peaceful garden. Nicole was an attentive host, checking us in and making sure our stay was smooth. We easily day tripped into Bath and to Longleat and could happily have spent an extra day soaking up the gorgeous surroundings...next time!

We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Appleton Barn is a delightful property with wonderful hosts. Quiet and peaceful location in an idyllic setting but easy to get to the coast with bars and restaurants within a short drive. The property is well equipped and perfect for a family celebration; the beautiful weather was an added bonus. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
