Casa Farella is great value for money. You are slap-bang in the middle of Altamura with accompanying hustle and bussle. Parking is an issue, you have to park outside centro storico, but we did not have any problems. We loved to go out en wander around, have some icecream, buy some bread, have a vino (or some more) or birras; al on foot. Great location. O, and the roofterrace is amazing!!!

Bella Esperienza nel tranquillo borhetto Lucano! Affitta camere nuovo e super consigliato. Gentilezza, servizi e pulizia, davvero di livello elevato. Bagno grande con doccia polifunzionale fantastica! Belli i colori e l'arredamento dell'intera struttura che si trova al primo piano di un'abitazione con ingresso alle camere che hanno bagno privato. Colazione ottima consumata in una vicina caffetteria. Comodissima la Posizione per un classico Week-end in Basilicata ma anche per soggiorni più lunghi considerato l' eccezionale rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il magnifico Castello di Lagopesole è facilmente raggiungibile in dieci minuti a piedi e si trovano anche punti di Ristoro nelle immediate vicinanze mentre molte località turistiche come Venosa, Castelmezzano, Melfi, Potenza, San Fele, Monticchio si trovano a pochissimi km e anche Matera dista solo poco più di un' ora. Lo consiglio a tutti e tornerò di sicuro!

Roberto is a great host, from the very beginning he was very friendly and responsive. While check-in, he provided all the details clearly, and gave a lot of information about where to visit, what to eat etc. Apartment has two separate sections. 1) Studio apartment: One bedroom with double bed and private bathroom. 2) One bedroom apartment: One bedroom with one double bed and one single bed + living room with small kitchen and one single sofa bed + bathroom. The building itself is very well maintained, everything as seen in the pictures. Shower cabin is a little bit small but this is something acceptable for such an old building. Location is great, in the middle of Old City Altamura. I would stay here again.

Enzo è stato molto utile e comunicativo e ci ha dato parecchi consigli utili. L'appartamento ha una bellissima veduta panoramica su Tursi ed è proprio sotto la bellissima fortezza araba chiamata Rabatana. L'appartamento è completamente rinnovato con mobili d'epoca restaurati dalla comunità di recupero di Don Mazzi. Svegliarci il mattino con quel panorama è stato bellissimo. Tursi è un vivace paese abitato da gente cordialissima. Consiglieremmo Tursi e soprattutto l'appartamento di Enzo a chiunque e non vediamo l'ora di ritornare. F.&E.

The perfect place to stay! A real gem in Matera and a great place to stay close to the old city. Very clean and easy communication with the host. Upon arrival was greeted by the most lovely receptionist who was very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Matera and will return soon! Thanks again, Anna and Mike.

Host estremamente cortese, attento e disponibile. La villa, splendida e curata nei dettagli, dispone di due piscine. La camera e gli spazi comuni sono risultati ampi e puliti. Ottima la colazione anche per le numerose opzioni offerte. Molto apprezzati i set di cortesia. La struttura non e' al centro ma in una favorevole posizione per spostarsi in auto e raggiungere i piu' bei luoghi della zona. Il soggiorno e' stato in definitiva estremamente piacevole anche per il contesto signorile e selezionato. Vivamente consigliato.

A very nice b&b. We had the suite in the family house which was very comfortable and had own terrace and sitting area and bar fridge. If possible though ask for the Panorama suite as you don't have to be in the family's house. The kitchen is in the family house too and but note it costs 20 euros to use.. You may as well eat out. The pool area is terrific with umbrellas and plenty of seating. Breakfast was tasty both mornings. The owner in Switzerland was helpful as was the host on site. We got lost using Airbnb GPS location - took us too far up the hill. Take the exit SP13 towards AITEA. Then It is the first turn to the right (less than 100 metres after you take the exit) going up the hill. If you get to the hospital you have gone too far.

Il s'agit d'un site de réception dans le style Club, avec des maisonnettes privées dispersées dans une "masseria" très bien organisée et apparemment prospère. On bénéficie d'un lieu très bien entretenu, avec les services d'hôtellerie pour l'entretien quotidien des logements, un restaurant pour la prise, sur demande et réservation, des petits déjeuners et dîners, service impeccable, cuisine excellente, plus l'accès à une très belle piscine dans un cadre idéal avec vue sur la plaine, et un court de tennis. Ce n'est plus vraiment de la location d'appartement en ville... mais c'est un séjour très très agréable, et une bonne base pour la visite de la région.

Nico was extremely helpful! We wanted to see this place, because some of our ancestors lived in the town. We weren't certain how to get here and back again and we had to cancel our first booking, but Nico was gracious about our difficulties and we were able to come for a couple of nights after all. He provided us everything we possibly want and treated us like old friends. We stayed in the mini-apartment under the arch, rather than the hostel, because of availability, and it was perfect for our needs. There is a small kitchen, a patio, a bathroom, a couple of couches and a bed. The town is very charming to walk around and there are a handful of small restaurants & bars. There is also a castle which is free to tour, and if you are in the mood to stretch your legs, you may find a steep walking path down the east side of the mountain.
