This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

Small apartment with everything you need for a couple of days. Ideal for a couple or friends. We loved the terrace. Best view in the city. We enjoyed our evenings there very much. The place is really easy to find and you are 10 minutes of walking to most of the attractions or restaurants.

A beautiful, simple little apartment that has been lovingly decorated with lots of charm and style. The communication with Paola was always good and friendly. The location, in a quiet alley right next to the cathedral was particularly beautiful and I liked to sit on the staircase outside the front door in the evening with a wine and a few olives and enjoyed the view of the night cathedral. I was also happy to visit the cathedral square 30 meters away at night, which belongs to you almost alone, and enjoyed the view over the illuminated Sassi. I only missed a clothes rack that you could put in front of the door in the sun and some wind, because the laundry dried very slowly on the string stretched through the room. But this is just a small side aspect - the stay was absolutely wonderful and I would stay there again at any time if I had to go to Matera again. Thanks Paola!

Absolutely fabulous location and lovely place to stay ! We were completely wowed by Matera in general and the location and views were incredible . Loved our stay and wished could stay longer …have made a promise to myself I will go back ! The apartment was truely beautiful and we appreciated the little touches of yoghurt cake and juice which we had on the balcony for breakfast before we left. Many Thanks !

The castle is wonderful and the apartment is superbly designed and very pleasant. I recommend staying for several nights or a week and taking advantage of Teggiano's location for trips in the Vallo di Diano and the magnificent mountains of Cilento. Gisella hosts with generosity and warmth. Excellent communication and very good recommendations for trips and restaurants in Teggiano and the nearby area. The apartment is luxurious and allows for true relaxation. I highly recommend it!

I loved staying at this place. The place is decorated and has incredible furniture (I love the atmosphere that all the lamps give), it denotes that the details have been taken care of. Patrizia perfectly indicated me how to get there and although you have to go down some stairs, you soon realize that there are few for the standard of Matera. The view it has is unparalleled and the ease with which you can reach the different points of the historic city makes it easy for me to get to know Matera in depth. There were a lot of things to be able to have breakfast or have a snack, which is very much appreciated. Patrizia's space contributed greatly to how much Matera enjoyed

We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

Casa Pistacchio is a beautiful space with carefully considered design details. Angela was kind enough to upgrade us and we really appreciated how communicative Angela was for the check in as we were delayed due to a ferry. She allowed self check in and messaged throughout to ensure we arrived safely. It was a beautiful place to stay with two gorgeous, friendly dogs too! Would absolutely recommend and return! Beautiful and quiet accommodation in a good location, from which you can reach many attractions in less than 1 hour. We felt very comfortable. Communication was excellent and any questions and requests were addressed.

A perfect home away from home. Marzio is an excellent host. His place ticks every boxes. Peaceful, rustic with charm, super clean, well decorated, over the top equipped, extremely comfortable. The cherry on top of the cake is the fabulous housekeeper Maria, always present, yet very discreet, a real addition that makes you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. We have been travelling quite a bit and never been in a better B&B, especially for the quality of the service we received. It’s so true, that when you travel in southern Italy, every family welcomes you like you are part of theirs. You won’t regret staying here. I had a wonderful time in Sandra's apartment. The garden is splendid, I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it to the fullest. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need, even a huge private parking! I highly recommend for those who want to get away from Bari and find tranquility.

my friends and i had an amazing stay at annalia’s place! everything was clearly outlined , and annalia was extremely responsive to any concerns or questions we had. the self-check in is great, and the place is very cozy with a nice balcony and coffee machine (also close to the train station and supermarket). thanks for having us!

Perfection! Francesco and Alice have created a holiday paradise where you can only feel comfortable. The garden with a traumatic view is unique – especially at mild dusk with atmospheric fairy lights on the trees. The two are super sweet, pleasantly communicative and very supportive if you want. Conversations in English are not a problem. A freshly baked cake, grapes, peaches and snacks were waiting in apartment. Everything clean, authentic Italian village and very comfortable. We were very lucky to have cats and dog as well as kittens as neighbors. We really didn't want to leave, a real oasis to relax and ground. The surroundings are especially worthwhile for hiking enthusiasts: breathtaking nature and challenging routes to mountain peaks.

The house has a great location with amazing views from the balcony, making it perfect for staying a few more nights to fully experience the surroundings. Although we only stayed for one day due to our pre-arranged travel itinerary, we genuinely wished we could have extended our stay for several more days.

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful weekend in this lovely country cottage and fell in love with the peace that inspires this location: the place is truly enchanting and is perfect for those who love to relax in nature and explore green areas. The location of the chalet is also convenient for getting to the most popular natural attractions of Basilicata and we recommend it as a base for lovers of hiking and country walks. Mr. Giuseppe welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and instructed us on everything we needed to know to fully enjoy the house, equipped with all the comforts. He was also super available for any of our needs and left us complimentary fruits and chestnuts from his family farm (very welcome gift!) 🌰🍊🪵 Impeccable cleanliness and easy accessibility to the property, with the possibility of parking inside. We were impressed with the location of the house and the spectacular surroundings from the beginning. We were on site for 1 month and if we could have stayed longer. It's clear that we will definitely be happy to come back again. Why did that impress us so much? The whole package. It is incredibly quiet, a great view, the opportunity to immerse yourself directly in the most beautiful hiking trails from the house without having to drive. When can you open the door to the terrace and practice yoga with a view of the sea when the sun rises. We slept fantastically and the house has everything it needs. We had a wonderful relationship with the neighbors and since we love nature and animals, it was the paradise for us. Communication with the homeowner was very quick and helpful. We got lots of great tips. We were able to park the car right next to the house and there was a locked gate to the property. Thank you so much for everything
