It is located in the countryside, in a panoramic and quiet place, outside the town center, with private parking and large garden. Located at the entrance of the Sassi and 500 meters from the central square, Lamia Matera 11 boasts a very impressive view of the Matera ravine. The original building (lamia) with the characteristic barrel vault has been recently renovated. The house is spread across 3 floors. There are two elegant double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and stunning views. A room with 2 single beds, which can be joined together, is located on the lower floor, entirely carved into the rock.

The small cottage in the hill is a pleasant place and in perfect, harmonic tuning with the nature. The house features the great advantage to be warm in winter and cool in summer. It is a walk away from the town cente, the old town and shops; just 5 minutes away. The SITA bus stop for Bari is 150 ms away from the cottage. The pool is for the exclusive USE of guests. However, due to its size it is not possible to heat it. Therefore, it can be used from June 1st to September 30th.
