Phenomenal location with beautiful views. Accommodations were great and communication with host was easy. I locked us out of the apartment and host was there very quickly to let us in. We rented a car and the parking is quite expensive and confusing, which our host notified us about. I would definitely recommend Daniela’s place and would come back again. It’s a very local feel, but close enough to be in the “thick of things”.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in Matera, it’s so cozy and in the perfect location. The view from the terrace is so amazing! Giuseppe is a wonderful host, very responsive and he let us check in early, which was great because my small kids were tired. Thanks so much for everything!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

We had an incredible stay at Giovanna's place. It is located a few footsteps from an amazing view of the Sassi di Matera. Truly magical every time we stepped outside and easy access to walk down further and deeper. It is a traditional cave type dwelling however it is very clean and comfortable with 2 bathrooms with nice showers and a comfortable large bed. It has a decent kitchen for self-catering and a small table with chairs outside to enjoy some wine in the evening. It was nice and cool inside during the day when we were experiencing 30+ temperatures. Giovanna was a great communicator and was swift to reply to messages and generally easy-going. Relaxing vacation in the middle of greenery and nature. Large apartment, equipped and clean. Priceless to eat in the large garden under the oak tree. Starting point to visit nearby cities, beautiful sea and white beach. Very helpful host. recommended structure

La Habitat was one of the best accommodations I've ever had, very comfy, great location and allowed us to dive into Sassi's atmosphere.

I have booked this apartament 24h before arriving and have to admit that I wouldnt be able to find anything better. Flexible check in hours, cozy and comfy apartament with really unique style, friendly and proactive host - 100% recommend to everyone!

Anna’s place lived up to expectations and it was appreciated that her husband met us and also went with us to check where we had parked (illegally it turned out ). There are steps so it pays to reduce weight if able. The house was great with a comfortable bed , washing machine a bonus and views from the balcony.

Prospero is extremely kind and accommodating, full of good advice. The apartment was very clean and particularly well equipped. We were able to park easily in the street and the historic centre is within walking distance.

Wonderful place in a perfect location and incredible view. It feels like a home away from home with all the little details thought through. Great location outside the pedestrian limited streets for easy luggage drop off, but a very close 5 min walk to get into the heart of Matera. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location to explore Sassi, easy parking, walkable, fabulous restaurants recommendations, and every thing was so perfect with welcome fruit, breakfast, coffee, and more. The place is so new and well cared for that 5 star rating is just not enough. Really great experience.

He shared so many local recommendations and went above and beyond in every aspect of ensuring we had a comfortable and wonderful stay. A host that truly wants his guests to feel at home. Beautiful place that is very close to the city center and all of the sights of Matera. You can walk everywhere from the apartment. We especially appreciated private parking, where we could keep our car safe. The host was proactive, helped us park on arrival, and very responsive. Excellent experience, would absolutely stay again.

Eliana welcomed us with a thorough tour of her apartment and some great ideas of what to do in the area. She supplied a handy map with walking tours illustrated. The apartment has a quirky layout and a spacious bedroom. It was great to have access to the outdoor space to enjoy our wine and cheese. Though we had to get used to all the steps of the town, Matera and its surroundings are really magical. Since we were there for three days and four nights, we were glad to have our own kitchen and so handy to have access to her potable water dispenser in both still and sparkling options. It was also great to find a small supermarket at the top of the street just a few minutes away! We certainly got lost in the sassi several times, but that's all part of the experience. And the hike across the gorge to the caves on the opposite side was more than worth it. I've been to Europe many times, and I think this is one of the most unique places I've stayed. Amazing place in the heart of Sassi di Matera. The airbnb is hardly 1 minute walking from Piazzetta Pascoli, one of the main squares in Matera. It is the perfect base for exploring the old city— close to all the tourist attractions, and yet fairly quiet and private. The view from the balcony is unmatched. The airbnb itself was very spacious, clean and well equipped with all the key amenities.

I stayed for a few days at Anna's place with my dog. It was wonderful! Right in the middle of nature in a small village, there are plenty of trails to hike around this area. Anna and her family were incredibly friendly. Anna even took the time to show me around the village and its church! The apartment is very cozy, with a beautiful wood stove. I highly recommend!

The accommodation is really very aesthetic & beautifully decorated. Beautiful furniture - beautiful look. The accommodation was clean & the bed is - as my predecessors already wrote - really very pleasant & comfortable. The air conditioning cools the accommodation quickly - but only as long as the room card is inserted. We cooked at our evening in the accommodation, no great equipment available, but completely sufficient for an evening. Everything you need. The place is highly recommended. Nicola was an excellent host. He is friendly and responded instantly to any queries. The apartment is situated about 15 minutes walk from the centre and just a few minutes from the supermarket. There are lime scooters throughout the city if you prefer not to walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Thank you Nicola!

Angela is an amazing person, the accommodation offered is superb, the place is quiet and restful, the pool is a real plus, and the garden with sunbed and hammock is great. Angela recommended us restaurants that were divine, where we were welcomed great, she had even booked for us! In short, go there without so much as a second thought. Big favorite for Malaika and especially Nana, her dogs who are so adorable!

Perfectly located in the center of Bari at a 10 min walk from the old center. Very spacious. Would definitely eat at the restaurant that Angelo recommendates.
