Highly recommended! If you are looking for an authentic experience, this would be it. Ivana Anna is a awesome host. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Due to the language barrier, she was very respective to using Google Translator. In fact, upon arrival, she treats you like family or a long lost friend. Thank you for everything, Ivana Anna!

L'alloggio è molto bello e rilassante, uno di quelli da cui non si vuole più andare via. C'è tutto il necessario e un comodo parcheggio a pagamento direttamente di fronte la casa. La posizione è ottima per visitare i sassi a piedi.

We are so very grateful that we found Angela's place. It was a last minute booking for us and we didn't have very high expectations. If we would have had though, the high expectations would have been met!! We stayed in the loft apartment and it was very clean, very practical furnished and very quiet and peaceful. There was everything you needed. The pool was cold but I love that since it was hot summer when we visited. Sun all day on the sun chairs!! Her two dogs were lovely. Angela as a host is the best host I've ever had during all my airbnb stays. Very attentive, easy communication, super friendly and really helpful. I would most definitely come back to casa pistacchio. The house is located at the bottom of the city (its a steep and cool city!), and the accommodation provided parking. Grazie mille Angela 🫶

Linda's place was amazing - it has the most 'personality' of any Air B&B that I have stayed in. As soon as we sent our friends some photos - they were all saying "wow"... I really appreciated Linda giving me some handy hints on where to park our hire car and was glad when she helped me work out how to get her to her place. The mistake we made was relying on the maps link which was not accurate. I know understand that Maps are hard to use in places that are as steep as Matera. Matera was so quiet just before Christmas that we were concerned that nothing was open for dinner. This was our mistake - once 7:30/ 8pm hit, there were many amazing places to eat at. We have recommended Linda's place to some of our friends who now kow about Matera as it is not a usual place on the tourist map for a lot of Aussies doing their whirlwind trips to the other side of the world!

We had a lovely stay in the cave! The apartment was excellent with all amenities, wonderful atmosphere and great location. Maria was incredibly helpful, very responsive and on hand to offer support and recommendations. Definitely recommend!

If you are coming to Matera and this place is available during your stay, book it! This place is amazing both for its own sake, but also because the location cannot be beat! Located in and amongst the sassi of Matera you are close to everything! Restaurants are a short walk either up the stairs to the newer part of town or downstairs to the older part. The church of St. Mary of Idris is a short 4 minute walk. The bathroom is as great as it looks. The bed is clean and comfortable. The host met us at the car park and walked us to the home. giving us a brief history of the area as we went. I cannot speak highly enough of this AirBNB!!!

ci siamo trovati davvero bene la struttura era impeccabile i proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio e tutto era super pulìto. Poi non capita tutti i giorni di fare un’esperienza immersiva all’interno di una grotta e dormire isolato da tutto il resto. Silenzioso e appartato davvero ottimo. grazie ♥️

The location of the small apartment was perfect! Just a few steps from the entrance, there was a beautiful view of the city. You could either walk to the apartment with your suitcases or take the stairs with lighter luggage. We managed to find a free parking spot just before the no-entry zone. The apartment itself was tiny but very charming! :D We love staying in places like this. It was a bit difficult to find the location, but that might have been because we were already tired from our travels. For a short stay, it's an incredible place, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :D
