The Nest. . Originally the old laundry.

The Nest was originally the old laundry and we have spent months converting it into this unique space. With wet room , kingsize bed, kitchenette with sink,fridge,microwave ,toaster and kettle. So everything to make a simple meal. This is a small space but larger than a shepherds hut .All that you need even in the winter months with plenty of hot water and heating. An experience if you love Nature and wildlife. Great bed no shower enclosure as it is a wet room. Good bed good shower. And clean!

This is an extremely peaceful place, entirely surrounded by fields. The cottage is semi-detached with a quiet neighbour next door. Beautifully renovated 300 year old Mill House, cosy cottage feel on our working farm on the edge of the Wolds. A perfect cottage for two, tasteful and spacious bedroom with on suite bathroom. Snug living and dinning area with warm log effect stove, original exposed beams and all the facilities. Easy access to York, North York Moors, National Park and coast. A short drive from many wonderful attractions and activities. We are unable to take short breaks in July and August .

This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.
