Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ballarat

EVR was the perfect location to explore Daylesford and the surrounding areas, close to town and easy to find. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm for our stay, having the heater turned on prior to our late arrival was a very welcome added bonus! Harry provided lots of local info on attractions and restaurants making planning our trip much easier.

We had a fabulous stay at Deb’s house - it’s a real gem. It’s clean and comfortable and close to everything Hepburn Springs has to offer. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch too!

We had a fantastic stay. The place is beautiful and the house has everything you could need. It was spotless and very well presented. We had a great time and hope to stay again sometime soon!

Had a lovely week at Gangas place. Was quiet, peaceful and extremely comfortable. Generously furnished for extreme coziness with a well equipped kitchen to cook for yourself. Located on a beautiful quiet road with the general store a short stroll away made for a great experience and reset from city life. Would highly recommend.

Second time staying. Everything nice and clean. Fires were set and plenty of wood. Grand children enjoyed the toys especially the soft toys and marbles. Nice collection of sausage dog draft stops. Very comfortable with multiple heating options.

Fantastic place to stay, plenty of room, very clean and easy to get to. Dion was very easy to get hold of with any queries and concerns I had and very informative of the place and what to do. Very much looking forward to staying again!

Great place to stay in Ballarat, peaceful surroundings and yet very close to all necessities. Tony & Jodie were very helpful with instructions. Will definitely book again if back in Ballarat.

It is our second stay at Sylvia's place and we are already planning our third. It is beautifully set out and clean with country views out each window and comfy beds. Fabulous heating kept us warm on a cold weekend. We couldn't ask for a more responsive host. Seating in the lounge is suitable for 6 people only but plenty of seating at the dining table. We were very impressed with the emergency lighting when our power went out for a short time in the area.

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

I loved Renee and Izy’s place. Perfect location (short walk onto the Main Street, and up to the Convent). The heating was great, the bed was comfy. Thanks so much.

Convenient location, spotless and well maintained. Linen good quality and felt like new. Heating was amazing.

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay. Very well located near town. Enjoyed the Sunday market and some great local restaurants. The log fire was much appreciated as it was a very cold and wet weekend.

Great location and close to ammenities. Can be a little noisy at night due to the building being directly on the main stretch, but this is no different to any other apartment in a similar position. It's a beautiful apartment and well appointed.

Hepburn springs and surrounding area are generally expensive but this accommodation was very reasonably priced.Unfortunately most of Hepburn Springs is either up for sale or closed down but Daylesford is only 5 minutes away by car and theres plenty to see or do there.

Can't express enough my gratitude how amazing it was to stay in Baleno and It was just what we needed! Can't thank enough Dayget for there hospitality and just being there when need! Don't want to ramble on too much but just can't say enough good things about this place. It was worth driving over from South Australia for my 25th with my partner! Can't wait to come back again!

Beautiful place to escape for a romantic weekend. Cute little fireplace, comfortable bed and serene spa set up. We will definitely be back. Could not fault the villa at all.

What a lovely find this place was. Spotlessly clean, great beds and showers away from the Daylesford crowds. Nicely equipped and private, enjoyed the view from the balcony immensely.

Absolutely loved our spa weekend stay, so many thoughtful touches, from the quality bed linen and towels, gorgeous toiletries, great record collection, book of well thought out information about the area, places to eat, visit etc. there was even bird food for the native birds which you could hear and see from the well set up outdoor area. It truly felt like you were at home, they really have thought of everything to help their guests enjoy their stay, we will definitely return 😊 too many personal touches to mention but we fully recommend this lovely home.

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

House was clean and tidy, had a really nice warmth as soon as you walked in the front door. Amber was super easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early upon request which was awesome, and we appreciated a lot! Spa was great to be in on a cold night with a full view of the stars in the sky. Our favourite part of the whole house had to be the couch in the living area, it was so comfortable we wanted to take it home with us. Really had a fantastic time, would come back again definitely.

Our stay at the Vicarage was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived—lights on, music playing—we felt instantly relaxed. The home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm and Dean is an incredibly thoughtful host. The fires were set, the hot tub was ready, and a generous selection of provisions welcomed us. There were no tedious rules, just an open invitation to unwind and enjoy. The gardens were gorgeous too with plenty of quiet spots to enjoy a book or a cuppa, and Sammy the cat made us feel right at home. Every detail was focused on comfort and ease. We (reluctantly!) left feeling refreshed and are already dreaming of coming back. Thanks Dean for an unforgettable stay, you have truly perfected the art of hosting. All the best, Cheers Rose & kids!
