We absolutely loved our quiet stay at the High Garden! The beautifully decorated space had everything we needed and more! Drinks and snacks, board games, very nice bikes and beach gear, and an exquisitely comfy bed... Mark and Sheryl thought of everything! The property gardens were spectacular and we enjoyed our peaceful mornings having coffee on the patio. Just a short walk to Carolina Beach and a 20 minute drive to historic Wilmington, this was a perfect location for us. Thank you, Mark and Sheryl, you were wonderful hosts! We will definitely be back.

Sarah was a wonderful host! My husband and I had not visited Carolina Beach in many years. We enjoyed our quick get away for our anniversary. We love spending time in the beach community, being near the water, hearing the ocean waves and the views. However due to health reasons, I’m not able to tolerate a lot of sun exposure with laying on the beach. Which made Sarah’s condo the perfect place for us! The condo was nicely decorated , very clean and had everything we needed. Sarah was very responsive and communicated very well. I spent alot time on the patio/deck enjoying the ocean views and listening to the waves. We will definitely book again and I would recommend to others.

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful quiet place with an easy walk to the beach. Check in was very easy and Libby was a great host! We will definitely visit again.

Such a convenient location! Pictures don’t do this space justice. The high ceilings make the space feel very large. Sitting out on the balcony was nice and peaceful. The weather was perfect for our weekend trip and we were able to walk to shop and eat. Only critique would be the mattress on the bed isn’t very comfy. It would also be nice to have reserved parking. But both of these things are so minor it wouldn’t hinder us staying again or recommending. We love Southport.

Great place and great location. A lot of nice coffee shops, resturants, and bars. The Oak Pavillion was a close walk so no need to spend money on a ride share app. Bathroom had great water pressure and the laundry unit being right there was nice to warm a towel for post-shower. Parking was a little confusing but Ann st next to the church after the median on 3rd st was free parking. It was 3 blocks away uphill but parking was safe there the whole time and all amenities were close so you can leave your car and walk most everywhere. Great place to stay if you're visiting wilmington or (like we did) going to a concert.

Michelle was a great host, with clear instructions and an easy to access unit. The furnishings were clean, modern and comfortable. Really appreciated the variety of containers with lids for taking fruit and snacks to the beach. So very close to the beach but nice to also have the pool as an option. Also appreciated the usb chargers. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for a quick visit to the area. Cafe/surf shop right around the corner. 1 min walk to the beach to surf! Comfortable beds, very clean. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Such a great place to stay! Had an amazing time, private but also right next to everything. You can walk to the beach/restaurants. Instructions and check-in was a breeze. Definitely would recommend and will come back again!!

My family and I stayed at Casablanca for a week and we had a wonderful time! We loved how close we were to the beach! Everything was just as described and felt right at home. We hope to be back soon.

We loved our stay. It is so convenient to the beach. It was great to have a place for our beach stuff in the closet downstairs! It may not be a major amenity, but having a filtered water pitcher was awesome! Thank you for this! We can’t wait to come back again! Pro tip: If you go to Inlet View Restaurant, order appetizers from the bar on the first floor. No wait! You can order apps downstairs only, but they have 2 pages to choose from.

Cake by the Ocean was such a great spot near the beach. Easy to access, private, serene, and very well kept. The location is not what makes this place so great, it’s all the details Marcia and Chris have put into it. You will have all the comforts of home you need or could imagine. It is very clean, lots of towels, kitchen gadgets, beach toys, chairs etc. A lot of effort has gone into making this a special stay. It felt like our own personal vacation home. We arrived to homemade cupcakes and cold bottles of water which was such a treat after a long day of travel. Thank you guys so much for having us!

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I loved the closeness of the ocean and we were able to walk everyday to the Beach. The house worked out perfectly for us and we would stay there again. Our trip was a great success and we were able to relax and enjoy the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Fantastic Airbnb! I’m so glad I booked here, I’ve been itching for a TRUE beach vacation and this was IT! Less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, which is also dog friendly , absolutely amazing experience, kind people, will stay again in the future

A wonderful secluded condo. Quiet and just a few steps from the beach, pool or recreation area. The family truly enjoyed being at the beach without the hustle and bustle of the beach. Would stay there again.

This was our first experience with Airbnb, and let me tell you, it far exceeded our expectations expectations! Denise's condo truly is a piece of PARADISE! Everything was super clean, there were a ton of towels and sheets and everything you would need for a home away from home at the beach. The beds were some of the most comfortable we'd slept in (including the pull out couch). And the view is breathtaking! You're so close to the ocean that when the tide is high it almost feels like you're on a cruise. We had no issues, and instructions were very clear, so we had no reason to contact the host during our stay. But she reached out before our trip, and you can tell she put her whole heart into creating a beautiful home away from home to escape to. We look forward to future family trips here!

Having access to the beach and pools was amazing. We thought we'd need to use the indoor pool, but the weather was great all week. The outdoor pools were great - showers available to get sand off from the beach. The kitchen equipment was not very clean and the doubl bed was pretty uncomfortable. However, these shortcomings were easily overlooked for how close we were to the beach. Kure had lots of activities for free, but also some things you could pay for nearby, like putt putt or the Boardwalk. I definitely recommend this location!

We absolutely loved our stay! Lisa is a great host and she made us feel very welcomed! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything you could possibly need during your stay, from various tea flavors to beach chairs. The area is very quiet and beautiful, only a short drive to historic downtown and about 15 minutes to Wrightsville Beach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Wilmington! An adorable beach bungalow perfect for a couple's getaway! Very clean and with all the amenities you could need for a trip to Oak Island. Short walk to the beach via public access point, and great restaurants and coffee shop - all within walking distance. Hot tub is a nice added feature! Owner very responsive to any question we might have. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
