The owner lives next door.

The cottage is in the heart of a wine estate in southern Ardèche: welcome to the Domaine des Louanes! In the middle of the vineyards and olive trees, close to the river (10/15 min walk), it is equipped to accommodate 4 people with 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed of 160 and one with 2 single beds). On the ground floor, an open equipped kitchen and a living room, upstairs the living room, bathroom, toilet and the bedroom with the double bed, and on the second floor the bedroom with the 2 single beds.

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .
