If you're looking for a "first class" overall experience & value for money, this is it! It can't get any better than what Michael and Maria is providing. Sure we had a minor glitch with parking and the walk to their place but when we got there...we completely forgot about it! Hosts are honest, generous (free use of kiaks hello :), exceptionally clean, has good taste (I love it!), responsive, and were very meticulous which helps a lot esp for out-of-town tourists like us. Expect everything there is in the island life. Snorkelling, island hopping, or just watching the sunset with a school of fish under your feet are some of the experiences that's worth every centavo! Don't just stay for a day or two - stay longer! It's super worth it. Whatever they promise-they give. And that, my peeps, is hard to find these days. :) This place, experience, and everything else...it's one for the books! Michael, Maria and their caretakers did a superb job hosting us! We had an amazing time during our stay, we arrived early in the island and Ate Cora was kind enough to let ys check in early which made our first day at Puerto Galera worth it. The place was exactly what was described, clean, spacious and perfect for 4 of us. We were able to use the kitchen which was great since we like to make our own food from time to time. Though we had a slight issue with the TV and its internet connection so we weren’t able to use it at all but we were out most of the days so it wasnt really big of an issue. Our stay was totally worth it!

Great place to stay, near the port. The place is spaceous with its own kitchen and refrigerator that works well. The airconditioning is really cold and has its shared veranda. Staff are polite and helpful and walking distance to the beach. Will definitely come again

Amy's self-contained studio apartment is large and private. It's the perfect hideaway and at the back of Arkipelago Divers, which is run by Amy and Pedro, with a joyful team. Being at the back of the dive center and restaurant, you're amongst residents (including pets) and some back-of-house operations. I like that family vibe. If you're a scuba diver, staying in Small La Laguna and with Arkipelagos is convenient, quiet, and essential for quality diving and expert guiding. The operation is well-run and very professional. Great for photographers too. The restaurant, pool, hang-out areas, beachfront, staff, and diving make this place complete. No need to go anywhere else. Amy is open-hearted, welcoming, and helpful to all with hands-on advice and assistance with travel and other information. 5 Star hospitality! I've had the best week, amazing dives, lots of laughs, and have been embraced like family. I'll be returning and will recommend to others. THANK YOU, Amy, Pedro, and crew!
