The story goes that Casa de Pedra D'Alborinhas was built in the 19th century by Mr. Custódio Alexandre, who lived here and started a family. "Alborinhas" was the name given at the time and in the region, to small, red plums. His great-grandson, along with his wife, decided to keep the memory and childhood memories, dedicating all their Love to the reconstruction of these walls. The region has also plenty mountains and river valleys including picturesque hamlets through out the "montanhas mágicas".
