Casa da Salgada

A short distance from Porto, not far from Coimbra and very close to Aveiro, you will find a natural lagoon . Casa da Salgada in the village of Fermentelos, more precisely in the street of Salgada that begins near the house and ends a few meters lower on the shore of the lagoon of Pateira. Built at the end of the 19th century by a merchant based in Brazil, it was completely renovated at the beginning of 2021, the result is a house with soul and history dressed in comfort and charm.

Casa de Salreu AL - Housing

Casa de Salreu is an individual, ground floor villa, with its own land of about 2,000 square meters (flanked by willows and water line), a patio, 4 comfortably furnished suites, living room and fully equipped kitchen. Rehabilitated in the first half of 2020, it results from the reconstruction of a typical house in the region, where it sought to maintain, in addition to volumetry, the personality and romantic aura of the space, with total respect for the natural surroundings.

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

Location: Torres, small village in the municipality of Anadia. Adobe construction, with plenty of light. There is room for cars or camperavans. The decor is simple and rustic. It contains a double bed. Casa da Eira has a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom room. The area is rural, quiet, close to nature, with vineyards and other agricultural land. The Lagoa de Torres is about 500m away, a very pleasant place to read, meditate, walk with the dogs or fish.

We are close to the main Avenue of the city of Aveiro, 1400 meters from the tourist area/historic center and 600 meters from the Aveiro Footbridges. Aveiro train station is about 800 meters away. It is a calm, quiet, safe and little urbanized area. Ideal for those who want to get to know the city and at the same time rest.
