Fletcher Bay Garden Retreat

This private and completely separate 300 square foot space is located 100 feet behind the main residence. Enveloped by mature forest, you feel as though you are staying in a treehouse. The loft features hardwood floors, internet, queen sized bed, cozy sitting area and kitchenette. Marj's attention to detail and love of vintage finds is evident in the charming and welcoming space. Relax and listen to the water trickling in the pond outside your room. The loft comfortably accommodates singles, couples, children or a third adult. Amenities: The loft comes equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, hot water kettle, and mini-fridge and is stocked with coffee, tea, yogurt and granola. There is a comfy queen-size bed and also a twin blow up Serta mattress with an internal pump that maintains pressure at your desired comfort setting. You can work or eat at an expandable table that has two comfy chairs. Internet tv is also provided. Luggage racks and an ironing board are stored in the closet. Wander this beautiful property and explore the unique and exotic garden offerings. You’re welcome to schedule a private tour of the grounds with Nick, owner and lead gardener. Your privacy is respected. You can remain quietly nestled in your getaway, and come and go as you please. Fletcher Bay Garden Retreat is located in the center of Bainbridge Island, about 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. It is minutes from Pleasant Beach Village and the newly renovated Lynnwood Center including the Tree House Café and Historic Lynnwood Theatre. The Village includes fun shops, a wine bar and various restaurants including the lovely Beach House Restaurant. Near and dear to all Islanders hearts, is Walt’s Grocery where you can pick up necessities and sample Walt’s home beer brews and large selection of wines. If you care to venture further, you can visit the Grand Forest, acclaimed Bloedel Reserve, golf courses, quaint downtown Bainbridge Island and the new and highly acclaimed Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Nearby towns include Poulsbo and Port Townsend where more shopping, touring and eating are plentiful. And of course, Seattle is only a 35 minute ferry ride away! Drive on the boat or arrive from the Kitsap Peninsula. If you don’t want to hassle with a car, grab a taxi from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal or ride your bike (storage is available). Flowers To-Go During much of the year your hosts run Fletcher Bay Flowers, a flower stand atop their drive. The stand is a favorite of locals and always boasts a plethora of whatever blooms are in season. Eats Your hosts will make sure your place has a few breakfast basics for your morning including coffee fixings, granola and yogurt. You can plan your day while sipping your morning coffee!

The spacious studio comfortably shelters 1-4 people, and possibly two more depending on your group. Filled with light, the spacious studio is a cozy get-away or easy base camp. Walk through Rolling Bay neighborhood to nearby shops, beaches and trails. Garden seating is available, with a fire pit just in case a marshmallow roast is in order. We will consider well-behaved pets with their responsible owners, as most are, for a $25/animal fee. Dogs must not be left alone unless happily crated.

Next to the beach in a quiet friendly neighborhood on beautiful Bainbridge Island. 10 min walk from Pleasant Beach Village - restaurants, bakery, small grocery store, etc. Separate from the main house, own entry - full privacy. Firepit for an evening roasting marshmallows. Has a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, two burner hot-plate, toaster over and dishwasher! Check our guidebook for local info! Dine on the quaint patio at a relaxed hideaway. Stroll the paths and gardens on the beautiful five-acre estate before getting cozy inside with a game of pool on the antique pool table. There's lots to do! We are five minutes from the beautiful town of Poulsbo, 20 minutes from Bainbridge Island and the ferry to Seattle, and just 1 1/2 hour to the heart of the Olympic National Park. We use CDC guidelines as close as possible & leave 24 hours between guests if possible for your/our safety. Luxury Farmhouse-Style Living in the Heart of Bainbridge

Completely separate and private guest suite walking distance to downtown Winslow (1/2 block), the ferry (.6 miles), the harbor and the 8.5 acre Moritani Preserve (1 block) away Easy access via a code. I am always available for questions.. I live in the main house in the front but you will have complete privacy. It's a very safe area and people are warm and friendly. Check out the farmers' market on Saturdays at Bainbridge Performing Arts. You have space to park one car in the carport.

BIRDWATCH COTTAGE

BirdWatch Cottage is a self contained guest cottage on the South end of Bainbridge Island overlooking Rich Passage on the Puget Sound. Perfect for a weekend or week long getaway. The cottage is set amidst an "English" garden which is in full bloom in the Summer months. The Seattle ferry terminal and downtown Winslow is a 10 min. drive. Nearby restaurants are a short 3/4 mile walk away. THERE IS NO SMOKING, VAPING OR CANDLE BURNING OF ANY KIND IN THE COTTAGE OR ON THE PROPERTY.

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come explore beautiful Bainbridge Island and stay in our comfortable guest home. Located 5 miles from the ferry on the Northeast side of the island. This home is a separate dwelling with it's own driveway and private entrance located on our property. The short walk to the beach is about 5 minutes where you can have a beach fire, build a fort or simply relax and enjoy the views of the shipping lanes, Mt. Rainer, herons, eagles, orcas and our neighborhood sea lions.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
