Our apartment is called Pendo Amani, meaning Love and Peace, in Swahili. Pendo Amani is also a youth organization in Juja, Kenya, where there is a school called Ingemar Ericsson Learning Centre, named after Cecilia’s uncle. A part of the money our guests pay, goes to this important project, since our first guests in the apartment were friends from Kenya.
